If you "find a quiet place" with Lucy on a weekend morning or afternoon, you can keep pressing spacebar during the animated scene to keep increasing your max stamina. It also keeps spending stamina into the negatives, but that resets to 0 at dinner, and subsequent rests restore stamina in proportion to your (now potentially enormous) max stamina.

Haha, that's a fun find. Thank you!

Could you do me a solid and download the game off Itch.io (the official host) and see if that version works? It would help me to know if it's a problem in the game engine or if one of the mirrors here just has a bad copy. Also, what kind of graphics card do you have? And processor?? If you don't want to post any of that publicly, feel free to send me a DM with the info. A few people have mentioned this black screen, but I've tested on a bunch of hardware and never seen it so I'd love to hunt down the problem.

Also, shot in the dark here, what resolution is your display? Are you using a 4k monitor?
My resolution is 1600x900 on 60hz monitor with my hardware being GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4600, RAM at 8 GB, and CPU: Intel i5-4670 3.40 GHz. I haven't downloaded the game yet in Itch.io since I am using Data WiFi for my PC through a Dongler, so I would need to download the game in PC cafe and transfer it to my 128 GB Kingston USB. My exact OS is Windows 11 Pro in version 23H2. My drivers are up-to-date

This is what the game looks like to me even after 8 hours.

Ah, yeah it's likely the 11 year old hardware you are running on - it's nearly twice as old as anything I've tested on. Of note you're running windows 11 on unsupported hardware which is pretty funny (not sure how you managed that haha). I think I have solution though, I'm going to test out an older compatibility focused renderer for the next release - as long as it doesn't break anything I've already built, it should make a big difference for people running on older hardware.

Thanks for letting me know - hopefully that next release will work better for you.
