If you are talking about the screenshots in this thread, that filter hasnt existed for a long time. The screenshots on the itchio page are a better representation of the game as it is.
Gotcha. Might check it out, the screenshots from here was doing it ZERO justice then. Cause good lord it was pretty awful to look at. Felt like I needed to get my eyes checked.

Holy shit this game has been updating quick. I'm still waiting for the full release, but checking out the progress has made me really excited.

what does the attune stat do exactly?
Mostly it's the number of dice you roll when you drink a potion, but it's tied to collecting reagents and hunting/gathering food. It effects mana regeneration, and EXP gain from research. There may be a few other things.

I don't know if Dev has rebalanced dodge yet? But trust me, dodge is the most OP defensive skill in this game from mid game.

Anyone playing this game for the first time will encounter similar difficulties, I was no exception but learned a few lessons that:

1. The reputation of the inn is the most important thing for you to earn money.

2. Always keep an eye out for inn repairs (scrap metal bought on weekends or found while walking around).

3. Prepare medicine (high income in the mid-game).

4. Armor (just enough current budget and many dice slots are ok, early game is important to prioritize).

5. Weapon (if I remember correctly, it is the black sword, if you don't have enough money, upgrade the default sword to the maximum).

6. Passive skill heals and restores mana after each battle.

7. Beekeeping in 'Greenhouses' for brewing.

8. In the 'Tower', you should inlay the healing ability into the armor you are using.

* This game does not need specific and detailed instructions because after a few failed attempts, you will understand the game mechanics.

* I agree that there should be a gallery listing each character's scenes so people know if they've unlocked them all (this may be updated by Dev in the future).

* Has a 'dating sim' tag but it's not explicitly shown (Lucy gets into bed too quickly and minor H scenes don't have a specific cum in or cum out option). Sometimes there should be some sentences like: today is a dangerous day don't cum inside, I'm a bit tired today so do it gently, etc. Do the opposite and Lucy will be 'angry'.

Looks like version 1.61 has a bit of a winter update, I'll play it when I have free time and hopefully the game has been calibrated for more difficulty and harsh weather than previous updates (I stopped at version 1.21).
where did you find this blacksword i can only buy the rapier and greatsword when the merchants arrive

I don't remember the exact name of the sword so I'll call it the black sword (it's the most expensive).
Greatsword is the biggest weapon you can get for strength. Katana is the best for agility (shows up with the army) - and Willow can get you a pretty sweet set of Agility Feyblades in 1.9 onwards

Starting again from the beginning I'm reminded that it would be nice if there was some reliable way to earn money until the inn gets up and running. People stopping at the inn feels incredible random. I'm at day 45 right now (half way through summer already) and still too poor for any upgrades because I'm simply not having people show up.

I've started from the beginning several times now, and its not a skill thing. Sometimes people show up and within a couple in-game weeks inn is upgraded to tier 2 already, and sometimes they don't.

A timeslot option to earn money (even if its a weekend only thing) would be nice.

Get herbalism and her doing alchemy asap, once you do gather reagents and make both health potions and. In the meantime, chop wood or hunt whenever the monster presence is low and sell what you don't need. Don't clean up the inn until you've fixed it up a bit and learn the skill where you get more out of cleaning (saving up materials). Keep juuuuust enough food for if you get guests (around 5-6, 10 on weekends since you can't hunt) and try to meet Scout as fast as you can to start making alcohol. In the beginning, use the alcohol purely on guest you find since in the long run it'll make you more than selling the kegs until you unlock being able to make more per keg.

That SHOULD help until you get set up for customer. Just clean up (hoping for the random event that gives a nice boost to the inn repair), and make sure both your food and alcohol are around 10+ and some health potions on hand for the novice adventures.

Dryad is a longer quest.
1. Donate health to her at least 3 times.
2. Research Heart Trees (requires study desk + tower restoration)
3. Plant heart seed (requires greenhouse restoration).
You'll need to wait for events that include the dryad, and events which progress her quest will only show up once you have the pre-requisite upgrades.
