You got it. the math breaks down like this: You have a chance to get an event whenever you dont encounter combat when hunting / gathering / patrolling. If you go 2 times without seeing an event, you are guaranteed to get an event the 3rd time. If you dont have the dryad quest finished, you are guaranteed for 1 in 3 events to be a dryad event. As you progress the dryad's quest, the dryad event you get will change
Making the quest text more hand-holding would help a lot - mine says "Research Heart Trees" and I've already done Heartwood x 5 so it's not obvious I need to prioritise going out, and I haven't much because I've just been buying food and reagents.
Agreed. Game is in Alpha, there is a lot of sign posting and tutorialization that need needs to be done. It's on the road map. I will be cleaning a lot of that up as development continues.
Improve your defense stat, perform maintenance once or twice a week on a weekday. Get the improved woodworking level up. These will all help keeps the condition up. I'm actually not sure what you mean by repairing on the weekend? Much less saying it costs gold? Unless you mean it costs money to buy materials, in which case, yes.
The meadow sex option ? Make sure you have enough energy and that you've had sex with her at least once.
What I mean is that the only time I see an opportunity to improve the condition is "restore the inn" as a weekend activity. The weekday "do maintenance" requires "materials" but I don't know where to get those.
No immediate plans, but I'd like to add them. Those interactive scenes are a lot of work and usually take a couple weeks on their own. My immediate plans are all on the road map - mostly I'm focusing on getting the core gameplay systems and story together. If the game continues to do well and I can justify it, I will absolutely add those interactive scenes for the companions.

Just raise Ellie's interest / affinity by interacting with her in the morning, or hanging out with companions in the evening. Once its high enough visit her at night.
