Game has been amazing so far. Usually don't post about some problems I've noticed, but it's good and I want to see it better.

* When game is in fall and the army is around, I got to like negative 20 gold somehow; I think I bartered with soldiers and it let me.

* once you have low/no gold game is basically stuck until Winter in the fall, there is very little ways to get money since I had only the first upgrade to rooms and they were all filled with soldiers so I can't get any customers to give gold. Since I had no gold, I couldn't buy any provisions from the quartermaster. The shop in the fall doesn't buy my potions or reagents so I can't make money. I was stuck cutting wood and getting food for most of fall lest I freeze or use conjured food.
-> the above point could be fixed by making the weekend shops be able to buy my potions, reagents, and/or the soldier barter option to take some of the player items for money instead of just items for money

* In the current endgame, the danger rises a bit much and I basically can't access the points of interest unless I know what I'm looking for and dedicate multiple days to lower the threat for an area. I can handle 2 or 3 areas from scouting, but once there were more, the majority of the map will be dangerous.

Balancing is very much work in progress, but I still appreciate people letting me know where the friction is as it helps me know where to put focus next.

The patrol system / danger will get much easier to handle soon. You'll be able to hire adventurers to help you clear areas out. Be in the next update or the one after. The game is very much still in alpha. There isn't a proper end game, anything after the second half of fall is still being actively developed.

For people struggling with money making, just get a bunch of alchemy components and give them to lucy everyday, soon she will produce 2 to 3 random potions each day making it very easy (too easy? ^^) to have large stocks of each

Anyway I had an idea about combat, like a precise / overkill mechanic
Like if you kill an enemy hitting 0, you make a clean kill and can have a guaranteed loot or more chance for rare loot?
And if you go all out and make a huge overkill you get no loot but more exp.. Dunno thought it could be fun lol

Hello! Where exactly is Ailis? I'm on my second playthrough and I still can't find her. I know she is recruitable on winter and found thru patrol. Which spot exactly do I need to keep danger low so I can meet her?

Edit: Nevermind I got her now!

Mostly RNG right now. There will be an event soon to let you focus on fighting the Forvalaka.
Please consider adding a way to focus on a particular monster in general if you would. Currently just can not get any monster venom to finish off some of the last upgrades. Armies gone and Scout loves to only give me fractured remains.
Would love to see that each patrol route has an encounter table that we see more of via increasing the mapped percentage, this way we can try to target a particular monster we may need.

Winter + Spring content basically dont exist in the game right now, lots of stuff coming for both. I'll make sure there's a way to get the supplies you need.

I have been looking through the thread on how to get Scout.
From the info I gathered it should be:
Invite her to Inn on Mondays,
Have the cellar,
and then gather food without getting into a fight.

Are there any other requirements as she still doesn't show up for me (Day17)?

She'll be an icon on the map which shows up during patrols in the meadows. Make sure the danger there is below 50% and you explored at least 10% of the region.

One of the best games on the site no doubt. Really started to appreciate the combat system after your magic/gear options widen.

Animations and art are top notch, and the content is well thought out so far. The only thing really missing is more music variety, and proper sound during H scenes.

Also, someone earlier made a comment about keeping the maintenance of the inn up; that is a game-changer. I've got 63 days of winter left and I'm sitting on over 12000 gold, was able to purchase everything the military had and have been able to still patrol and unlock everything.

Also, am I crazy or does giving Scout patrol notes actually stop the increase of threat overnight? Because I was patrolling with her to try to get things under control and making zero progress, but now that I'm giving her notes at night and patrolling during the day I'm making huge dents in the overall local threat levels.

I suspect that patrolling with her actually increases the threat levels (lorewise she attracts the undead I guess?), I only started to keep up with the rising threats once I stopped going out with her.

Edit: Actually yea, patrolling with Scout does increase threat, there's even a tooltip that says that it does, which I guess I never paid attention to.

I've hit Spring and it's the weekend. I've got guests, and merchants are available. Except that they are not.

On the guest acceptance interface the option to restock with merchants is greyed out.

Also, is the Caretaker implemented or coming soon? And is it Ole?

Merchants fixed in 2.2 onwards. Anything after early winter is still heavily WIP and so there may be lots of things which are a little janky.

Ole is not the caretaker, she's happy with her home in the woods. Caretaker has not been introduced yet, but it won't be too much longer before she hops on in.
