yea im kind of facing the same issue, whenever i launche the .exe file just nothing happens, i downloaded the game from the mega link

That's concerning, which platform are you trying? If you can, do you mind testing the link from one of our pages? We tested those (both PC and Android) again just now and they worked. If you're trying Mac, this might be an issue we missed because we don't have a device to test it. If that's the case, we will figure out a way to solve the issue.

Futa on Futa is planned and getting closer now. We don't want to spoil anything, but one of the LIs is a futa which means lots of scenes on her path.

As KAardvark said, it no workyeven tried deleting and re-extracting but still refuses to launch.
Sorry to be quoting everyone again, but while we try to figure out the issue, we found a possible solution.
Going over different forums we found that it could be an issue with the persistent save. The solution offered there was to delete the persistent save file from the renpy save folder (both the one in the game folder and the one in %appdata%). We were not able to reproduce the issue, so we can't test this solution at the moment. If any of you can, and it works, please let us know.

If it doesn't work, please send us the log file created when you try to run the game. It's a txt file that gets created when you try to run the .exe file.
If anyone needs more info on how to find and delete said files, let us know and we will write up instructions to find them.
I was about to delete the persistent saves when I realized that the 0.2 folder isn't making a log when trying to start the game. To make sure it wasn't my pc, I downloaded the 0.1 version from the Patreon and that version works fine. I have used every DL link for the windows version of 0.2 and get the same result every time.

We've been searching for possible explanations and compiled a list of things that people said to have solved similar problems.
- If you press and hold the shift key when you launch the program, that brings up a menu from the Ren'py launcher. In said menu, you can try the following:
- Select a different renderer
- Disable controller support
- Make sure the video drivers are up-to-date
- Unplug controller devices
- Move files out of OneDrive and to another disk
- Extract and launch the game in the Program Files 86 folder in the C: drive
- Change the exe file's compatibility mode to windows 8
- Delete the persistent save file from %appdata%
If any of those methods work for you, please let us know. We can link threads where we found those recommendations and give more instructions on how to try each one if needed.

Well, 1st kudos to you mate, not many devs out there who keep this open minded attitude. And ofc, I totally understand that since it wasn't in the OG plan it'd take more time to implement. ANd that's ok, mate take your time you guys are still in this early stages of dev where you can "play around" a lot. I mean, still don't take too much time and update the game once a year unless it's a big one lol. Or don't make changes abt previous content every update. Still, I'd say you're at the stage of dev when you are the "freest". So exploit that.
Like you said, it doesn't match the MC but I wouldn't expect a sub path to be accomodating when you have a predominant MC. For these types of MCs, they should be forced into submission (for it to make sense personality wise), like some sort of reverse corruption (maybe they get kidnapped, maybe one choice meet to leading a bad character too early in the story, maybe giving the player the choice to act like a b1tch will make ppl hate her and therefore some will try to show her who's the boss...).
I mean what basically nearly every female protag corruption game proposes alrdy, only this should lean more towards submission than corruption.
After our exchanges, I def hope you succeed, not many devs would have been open to the idea in the 1st place. I prefer a dominant gameplay but it's cool to see devs considering other posssibilities.

Did all of it, still nothing. Are you testing these on "clean" machines? That is machines without developer Ren'py tools installed? Sometimes having the dev tools installed makes it *seem* like it's running cleanly when it isn't.

Yeah, we have the Ren'py SDK installed on one device, but the other one doesn't have it. It seems likely that the issue is with Windows somehow since as far as we heard, that's the only version acting out. Testing the Android version on an actual physical phone worked without issues, and no one mentioned problems with Mac or Linux (but maybe they just didn't bother to comment?). We will keep looking for more information. You mentioned that you tested all of those methods, during any of those did a log file get created? Having a log, traceback or error file to look at would help us pinpoint the issue and come up with solutions.

Nope. No log, not even an appdata folder which means it's missing a component to even launch afaik.

Yeah, same here. Didn't say anything yesterday because I spent a few hours on a project in Automation then spent the rest of the day binging TWD until I got sleepy. This is the first time I've ever had this issue in a Renpy game (and I've played a lot of them, currently have around 450gb of VN's (not all are Renpy but a great deal of that are) on my E drive and this is the only one that never actually launches (it hasn't even made a saves folder in the games folder of this games directory).

i tried extracting to program files 86 in C drive but wstill didnt work, as for deleting the persistent save file from appdata imma be real i just dont know where appdata is lol
sadly it wont make a appdata folder if it doesn't open I had one but it was from the 0.1 version

Here are the instructions on how to get to the save folder: C: -> Users -> [your_user] -> AppData -> Roaming -> RenPy
AppData is a hidden folder, so you need to allow hidden folders to be shown in your file explorer. Once in that RenPy folder, you'll see save folders for every Ren'Py game you've played in that machine. The method we saw said to delete the persistent file from the novel's folder, so you would look for a folder called FindingUsefulTamableAllies and delete that file. However, it's like CosmicOverlord mentioned: if you have the file from playing 0.1 you can try deleting that but it's possible the folder is not there because the game is not running enough to create one.

Late reply, still binge watching TWD (on Season 5 now), but I looked and I don't have a folder at the specified location. Likely because the game doesn't even launch for it to create said folder. I'm not on the latest Win10 update but that was never an issue in the past as I've said before that this is a first out of the 85 Renpy VN's I've played since the last time I reinstalled windows (this would be the 86th unique Renpy VN I've tried to play).
