Can someone make a video guide on how to struggle? I was getting the signs at first, but now the game doesn't respond to any positions. Also tried on keyboard and gamepad. Just stuck.
We need an example of successfully completing this mini-game.
Make sure you are holding the gamepad stick up/middle/down appropriately then lightly and quickly tap the buttons. You have to hold the arm or leg button so it moves whichever of those two you're trying to break loose but lightly and quickly tap the other button. Can't remember at the moment which one that is. But Innocience is correct; if you look in the journal it shows you which buttons have to be used. Point being, if you're heavy fingered or press the buttons too long, it tends to fail. I had that issue when I first tried it. Once I figured out the light taps and smooth quick movements and I didn't have any issues ever again. It almost like the game interprets too long a button push or too heavy a tap as multiple pushes on that button and it fails.
After reading this wanted to add another important point. You don't have to move quick to do the next button tap. For instance if your last movement was with the stick down and you are going to move back to neutral then hit the button, you don't have to be quick about it. Take the time to get the button for arm/leg pushed (I just hold that one down constatnly and focus on the stick position and the tap button), move the stick to the appropriate location then quick light tap on the action button. It is more about having everything correctly positioned before hitting the button lightlly and quickly.
