All debug mode does is allow you to modify your stat values, change your outfit, and access the tool that lets you see all the poses in the game.

It does give you a few items that you usually don't get until a little ways into the game, but they have no real impact on the story. The actual gameplay isn't affected unless you modify your stats on your own.

Yeah I've got the same problem. Downloading 2.64 from here just has debug mode enabled and some random save location that seems like mid-game, so I'm completely lost

The fix for this is thankfully extremely simple. Navigate to the game folder, and go to the patch folder. There, you'll find numerous text files. To disable debug mode, open ver_d.txt and add // before 1.64 so it appears as every other text in the document.

Save it and run the game. Done.

Similarly, you can enable or disable the other features in the two remaining .txt files by doing the same by either adding or removing // next to the version number. No idea what those do. It's been a long time since I last bothered with any of this.

you need the full version once, then just get the latest patch, you put the patch in the patch folder and launch the game

1) The game is too obscure
2) There are separate sprites for every pose and camera view. Ain't gonna draw ALL of them.
