Came here from the thread of the devs new game and was just reading comments and saw that people were appalled by the ending.
You aren't missing much, the protag dies at the end, getting run over by a car owned by the dude who cucks him. Also, though the art is... fine, good might I add, there just isn't much of it, you are mainly in the perspective of the dude getting cucked, so you don't really get to see much, it hints at it with a few sprites bashing together, and hey, if that is enough to get your jollies out, be my guest. But seeing how the dude getting cucked is the dude we are stuck with, and since we are forced to get to know him, well at least for me, I started sympathizing with him, cause he is actually a pretty decent guy, usually the dude getting cucked is either neglectful or some other manner of dumbass, the worst we have for Anon is that he is completely oblivious. Which doesn't warrant the shit he gets and the downer ending killed any boner I might have worked myself up towards.
I think we know more about Anon then obligatory BBC#255. Anon at least had a character, sure it was a depressing character, a dude working hard for a ungrateful bride, willing to put up with all manner of BS from his shit job to provide for the woman who is screwing him over, only to be killed later on. Problem is, we spend waaaay too much time in Anon's perspective to the point where we get to know him more and at some point, I actually felt sympathetic, cause, considering how few the sex scenes were, the porn didn't really distract me from the fact that Anon was actually a decent guy. Kinda like a sick version of stockholm syndrome.

Here is the think, the dude who does the cucking doesn't really need any character development, this is porn, I don't care if the cucker is BBC#255, but the fact that we stay in the perspective of Anon, the cuck, meaning we see very little of the implied sex scenes and all the mundane bullshit that most of us need to deal with, via a shitty job we hate, wanting to provide for our family, etc. If you make a character too relatable, problem is people will start to sympathize with said character, and then you hit us with THAT ending and it just is over. Any horniness you may have worked up with the rare porn you get dies immediately with that clammy, wet blanket of an ending.
