He has one that is onhold (no idea why, haven't tried it), one that was just finished and 2 that are being updated regularly, I see absolutely no reason to worry, he has shown that he likes to pump out (very good) updates!

I don't really think so, I think SW got a different approach. More like a short story writer.
There are a lot of VNs out there where there is only slight progress each update.
Like 1 update kissing, next update some light petting, next update some heavy petting,
next one some oral and so a year goes by without any lewd hardcore action
and that's only for one of the 7 potenial love interests!!!
Picture Perfect told a story. With some highlights being elaborately rendered
while other parts were just written. It got the major getting together with
the ensuing sex scene, then some random lewd scene and an ending scene,
for each character. Like I said SW could have dragged it out like it happens
in other VNs but they decided not to but instead focus on important
parts of the story and finishing it. Like I said short story style and not
89347 pages Tolkin style.

Sure, but at the same time it was missing a critical pieces of storytelling, if I remember correctly (my memory stinks, so could be wrong). I don't really remember a conflict in the story beyond the mom who only made a brief appearance (and a rather cold reaction to him putting his cock in her daughter(s).) at the end. There's brief mentions of money trouble, but it's only ever talked about. There was just an overall lack of finality to the writing, imo. Then there's the logical side of misses, as well. Like Sasha, who has a full sleeve, but wants to pursue acting on broadway? I was fired from McDonalds while going to school for getting a tattoo on the bottom part of my forearm. Tattoos aren't allowed in the acting sphere, your body is a blank canvas. Especially when you reach a certain point, you don't do a damn thing without getting the higher-ups say-so.

I get what you mean with that thing about financal difficulties and the mother side story thing.
But then again...what if those weren't considered to be crucial for the main story by the author?
Or like the dev wanted to make it part of it but then decided against it for one reason or another.
But yeah, there could have been made more out of it, I agree, but hey at least PP got proper endings

I know that's a cheap counter for a valid point but it still aplies.
I mean it's fiction, Denise Richards portrayed a very skimpily clad nuclear physicist in a James Bond movie
and I know a metric crap ton of really great movies where the protagonist singlehandedly
takes out entire armies of bad guys without braking a sweat while dropping one liners.
Some things don't need to be credible to be fun and entertaining.
Long story short, you are right there are some inconsistencies but I would
call them mere oversights. And where would be the dev's room for betterment
and growth be if their first projects would have already been perfect in
every way?

Yeah, while this is more of a dramatic and emotional game than my others, I myself am a sucker for romance and just getting to know beautiful women, so you will go with this experience with the girls. Thanks for the question and I hope you enjoy!

Yeah, Kitchentable explained pretty well. I do not do long or huge games like Being a Dik or Deluca Family or Dating my Daughter, etc. I'm just not interested in that, and I'm more focused on a compact story where every update is important. There is no going on a date for no reason and talking about your day for example, because that does not move the story forward.
As for the critiques on missing story points in PP, I guess that's perspective. I focused on what I thought was important and I told the story that I wanted and I'm happy how that game turned out =] And thank you for giving this game a try!

A really solid start, the only thing that i can say that i'm not a complete fan is the point system (even more because if you make the wrong choices, you can miss one special scene at the end of this update), but overall, really nice models, nice story (i wonder if we will eventually find the mom), well, another game from superwriter on my watch list.
