you have to go visit Barbara. On the way go to the store. Click on the Black guy at the front of the store. Buy a gun. At sunday, go with Melinda, choose to kill him. The gun is not real. In the final, is Melinda who kills him.

Can you choose to not kill him at all and continue relationship with him and progress the story. I kinda asked that question some pages ago but nobody responded to me.
