8.1.3 worked for me but 8.2.3 did not. Tried both. So I think it's fairly safe to say it has nothing to do with anything you did, it's a ren'py issue

So it would be netori (MC stealing other characters' girls or cheating on their girls) and not netorare (MC having their girls stolen by other male or female characters)

I will work on improving the story and the game. I tried my hand at the lighting, and it looks neat now. As for photoshopping, I still need to polish it a bit.
Jaango, I'll work on a bigger update. I wanted to tell the story here, but adding everything I had planned would have ruined the suspense. I get that now.
Also, PrivilegedCholo, since you hit me with a 3-star, I’m now rooting for Atlético to win only 3/5 of their games (jk, jk, don't remove all the three stars now)! XD

enjoyed this alot..however, please allow us to choose the LI's we want to pursue. hate the purple haired bitch already. the other girls we met so far are ok with me. but please...do not force the purple haired bitch on us..eager to play the next update.

Sure, more renders is better, but if the hardware is powerful enough to render every posed scene overnight it doesn't matter if you lower the resolution, you won't produce more renders. A similar argument can be made against those incredibly detailed animations in this game, or the facial expression changes, which added production time without moving the story forward. The dev could cut back on all that, great games have been made with sprites over blurred backgrounds, but there's a balance to be found between pumping out content and following your artistic vision.
You're right that the extra resolution isn't important for a lot of people, especially with how aggressive the depth of field is, but personally I'll never complain about more detail and if a game has a 4K version alonside the FHD one I'll play it in 4K. If the dev can handle the extra resolution, animations and poses, great, if he has to cut back to increase productivity, great as well. It's a choice the dev has to make, and even though it's not essential to the success of the game, the extra work is appreciated nonetheless.

about harem I don't know if he changed his mind, but in previous posts he said that the game wouldn't have harem.
