I think the guy just gave up. He had regular updates at the start and then stopped for like about 2 months, and then suddenly we get a shitty, rushed ending. Seems like he got bored and just wanted to be done.

Well considering its just an RPGMaker version of a Goblinboy game, I wasn't expecting much. Original still stands alone. There was an Adrift version that allowed you to add your own images for the game, which worked out better than this port in the end.

It was such a brilliant idea to recreate Goblinboy's game. Unfortunatelly, dev was just mediocre when it comes to renderes and not even 1/100 as good as Goblinboy when it comes to writing. I would still wish to see someone skilled taking such a project

First part of School Dreams (Camping Trip) is without them. But writing is superb. Second part can be ignored and real continuation is School Dreams 3 which has pictures:

It's worth it even without pictures in my opinion. SD 3 is just great

Also his game Meteor that he released after SD3 was amazing, I liked the game but he deviated so far that it became tiresome

Yeah, Meteor was superb as well. Goblinboy's return would be the best thing for quality of our market I can imagine. But it's incredibly hard to recreate his games in RPGM or Renpy I guess

I think she only gets groped by him at most. Due to low funding I think there's only one end, alternate paths never ended up being made.

Wow, that sucks. You don't know how many times I rerun the game saves trying to figure out if I made a mistake in the card game scene. Always ends with Alice running away. No foursome... actually pretty much nothing. Hiding seek part implied there was going to be different routes. One where you playing with Nat leads you to find your friend groping alice. refusing nat leads to her groping alice with your friend. And the card scene just leads to a heated tease. Exiting the cave hopinh there would be a follow up leads to nothing.

There was never a foursome at the end of the game of spin the bottle in the original game. The gf in that game did run off.

During hide and seek in the original you could go as far as you like with Melissa although it impacted what happened next and the fact the gf then lost her virginity to your best friend. The original tads game was much better

Ah shame. Thanks. I thought it was hinted at during that hide and seek scene. pretty disappointing nothing happens. So is there any reason to play what is left at the cave. Or will it be even more disappointing?

Never played 2 I may do just for the completness however I enjoyed 1 and 3. Apparently in 2 Becky is completely sluttier. I do think a ren'py version of the game done properly, or even with added bits woukd be good.

2 is like a concept project of 3. It's not "canon". As a renpy it would required some movement system like in Babysitter. But it would be dope if it was remade 1:1 with the same options and text but with modern renders and engine. Almost as good as if Goblinboy would suddenly returned with new game.

I played most of 2 last night just to see it differed I prefer 3. I agree it would need movement. My thoughts would be to add bits to the spin the bottle game based on how you got there. So instead of becky losing her virginity to Mike that night in the tent after they catch you with Melissa, I would have it as an option during spin the bottle.

To be honest I prefer tent as it was more realistic. But I wouldn't mind additional options. Sadly it's unlikely we will ever see these games remade.

See I never thought the tent was more realistic. I think unless a true fan is willing to put time into it, I am afraid you are right plus there is certain things that would need to be changed the ages for one.
