I have to say, the idea to put us in the body of a vegetable OC with a broken body at the same time as Korra's rehabilitation, making us heal together, is brilliant.
I did like being the literal daddy to little date rapist "Jorina", but damn, the older Jinora in that tight uniform speaks to me.
The design change to place events in specific days and force the player to go through all events before moving on to the next day (sleeping) is a bit weird to get used to. It does feel a bit limited, but I'm not sure much is lost this way though, since you had to go through all events linearly in past routes anyway.
It will probably slightly reduce the amount of players getting stuck, since it eliminates the ability to switch between day/night and thus there is only one version of the map to "make the rounds" on at any given time.
It's possible I'm in the minority here, but I find this book kinda....boring so far.

You're right that there is no conflict going on currently, but that is what allows us to be full-time therapist to Korra.
This intro has been very cozy, and the therapy is far from over - Mity said in an art asset that Toph will have a bigger role in this route, and we know from the show that Korra still has mercury in her body and will need Toph to help her get it out.
But like you say, this is the start, and it's obvious that it's going to pick up the pace. One day Jinora and Opal will land their skybison to report about the Great Uniter's latest aggression.
In the final Slave Route update, the MC thought aloud about how things would have been different if the bad guy (Amon) had been a girl that he could have fucked. Enter Kuvira, the Earth Empress, the Stormtrooper Sovereign, the Mistress of the Mecha.

The progress with her seems really fast. Like it feels like when were at this point with other main girls, we were near the end of the routes. MITY definitely said that he intends on making a book 5. And I trust him on that.
There will only be 4 books. After this Love Route is finished, Mity will make an epilogue chapter to tie up the story.
Maybe I'm semantic, but calling it a book is a misnomer that gives the false appearance of it being ten times bigger than it will actually be, and will set people up for disappointment.
