This is probably a bit silly, because it's my own fault for cheating, but it's possible to softlock your file early on Ch.4 slave route if you give yourself the money to pay Lin before you could have it. Not expecting this to get filed under a bug report (does Mity even lurk here? LOL) but posting just in case someone else has this problem in the future.

I haven't played through book 4 slave in quite a while, but every time I have after the first I've cheated for money. I don't remember ever being softlocked in book 4 slave because of that. Maybe go play the matching game with Meelo just to see if you need to do that to progress (like telling Pema he's in the park or whatever).

Marty/MITY doesn't post/lurk here to my knowledge.

It sent me back to the island at night without anything triggering Korra being in her room; I'm not sure what order of operations it had to do with, but I'm pretty sure it was that I accessed the first Probend fight (because I paid Lin) before I had done any training with Korra.

Cheating my money AFTER day 2, when I could logically have 100 coins, hasn't led to any other problems.

I can confirm, I have had this issue many times. I don't keep any of my saves across versions so when I redo it I have to remember to wait for that scene before giving myself the money.

How are people not turned off by how awful the writing is? The main character is so unlikable and devoid of any charisma that the only way the writers could feasibly get him laid is by twisting every character around him into perverted, cum drinking goblins. The "love" route is a joke and the slave route is disturbing, i end up spam clicking through the uncomfortable dialogue whenever a sex scene takes place to avoid cringing to death while watching mediocre drawings of naked parts blink to and fro on the screen. Now the bad writing could be excused if other aspects of the game are good and make up for it but they dont. Reading dialogue boxes is most of the game. the rest is very bad minigames and then your reward for slogging through repetitive grinding for numbers iiiiiiiiiiis! The same drawing of a naked woman and penis you saw 3 minutes ago but this time the artists drew cum on her face. This game sucks.

I respect your opinion — even though I disagree with it. Note that FET is supposed to be a simple (written in Python) porn adaptation of a popular animated series, so 99% of the community would probably be satisfied with an endless series of sex scenes featuring well-known characters. Yet Marty demonstrated the ambition to add a plot that takes place within the events of the series — which deserves recognition in itself, but that's not all. He also added a significant amount of humor and — most importantly — more serious and disturbing scenes, such as Toph's dream, the dialogue with Koh in the spirit world, heh—even the Halloween event as part of the Love Route epilogue has something unusual about it... Personally, I appreciate that; I like FET as a whole — notice how simple means can create something that can be interpreted in several different ways, as evidenced by this conversation. Yes, FET has a few flaws, such as a somewhat tedious grind (especially in Books 1 and 2), subsequent patches can also ruin saves - but - it's nothing particularly serious.

I’ve heard that there are people who don’t like ice cream, but I never thought I’d actually see one…
But jokes aside, the game is meant to be comedic, in case you didn’t notice while playing. Taking a joke seriously just shows a lack of understanding. And yes, it’s an NSFW game, so… these things happen. Every game has its own tone.


There are games that are meant to feel serious, and in those, if the writing fails, then sure, that’s a real issue.
But in a game that’s intentionally designed to be comedic, complaining about absurd things just means you’re missing the whole point.

made an account to say the game sucks. must be reeeeally turned off by this game, to throw in so much effort, just to do a dislike statement.
