Problem with development is. You cant just replace a coder. This game is 80% finished if you replaced the coder now the new coder will need to work himself into the legacy code which will at least take a month if not even longer. You can`t just replace a coder. Thats not how this works and is a common missunderstanding made by many Product managers/Owners in bigger industries. If you have a project and there are 2 programmers working on it. Replacing one will slow down the project not fasten development. Since there will be many quirks and smirks little to no documentation because it was made wit the "modern techniques" agile and Scrum. And the Artist did stuff the way cbob wanted to which the new coder also has to adjust too. In a project it also comes down to personal things e.g. if you can work with a person or not based on Values, behaviour and ideas. If the working style doesn`t fit one person needs to adjust, which also takes time and enthusiasm.
TL; DR; Replacing a coder is not as simple as snipping a finger.

Played this game a long time ago, around the middle of book 2. It was a fantastic product so I've decided to wait for the final version to play the complete experience.
Could someone help me out, is the version (0.9) representing the current completeness to the developer plans to finish the game with the next major update?
I see some comments about burnout within the dev teem, no problem from my side been there also in my job, wishing the best to the developers, so I can wait, I am really just curious that do we know whether it is planned to finish the product with the next update or not yet?

The artist does some of the writing too, the game wouldn't suddenly be void of humor if the coder were replaced. And while the humor is a nice touch its not like it takes a literature genius to write, and this is a porn game first and foremost I guarantee most people aren't just paying for a laugh

the artist said all the humor the creator did and do in the main game, and he writes little and he say the idea that you can fuck the elders was his idea, but he do side stories or somethings meanwhile cbod write

1. Nobody has stepped up. Probably to do with 2 but also because it's 20 bucks right now.
2. It's just the bugtest and supposedly not even complete.

my guess, one of the major issues is, after cbob kinda crashed, hard, he's probably struggling his brain out in hope to get that grasp back, the old funnyness. everyone can try out forthemselves hor hard it can be to think up 2 consecutive funny lines in a situation and make them look natural and not thought up. then grab some save and go through all them lines in this game that made you chuckle. and all those lines look like they've kinda grown there on their own, that's art right there.
if he wants to keep that going in the remaining route, that'll likeky mean he's fighting demons, alot, right now. i wouldn't expect a fast update rate compared to what it was before his crash. and, worst case, he could lose it. then they will maybe finish -somehow- but it's not the same.

I don't know how but I did all the book 4 slave route just skipping and seeing just some lines and after 7 hours doing that I finish that route and I cant answer you
1- One is at the Aang Memorial Statue, ya have to go inside that dark room, then another one is at the training grounds, and for the last one you have to talk to Zhu Li. And then go back to Lin.
2- I'm pretty sure that one is after her birthday. Can't remember how you trigger the birthday "quest" tho.
Gonna be honest, I don't think a new writer would be all that bad of an idea either.
He does decently enough, but the sheer favoritism toward the Slave Route got old to me by Book 3. It was disappointing but understandable that the Slave Route comes first, whatever. Then Book 2's Love Ending was... just trash. Like I remember he even got called out by a bunch of his Patrons (I was one, at the time) because of how badly it was done. And he defended it (while pulling a Mass Effect 3 and still going back to revamp it to be... *less* disappointing) by saying (paraphrased) "Well, Azula is a crazy bitch, and I think we foreshadowed this ending pretty well".
Like... yeah. Sure. In this game that uses time travel, body possession, breaks canon on a regular basis, and already alters most characters way beyond canon, it's unreal to think that Azula could get some kind of a redemption arc beginning in the so-called "Love" route. Let's ignore all the foreshadowings and vulnerabilities she had earlier.
Then Book 3 was just awkward. Not only was the Slave Route pretty gross at some points (like Toph's eyes), but the Love Route made your character more or less useless. Like yeah, I get that he's the layabout avatar, but in the Slave Route he always becomes some big badass who pimp slaps around the series mains, and in the Love Route he's always so... lackluster.
To be honest, that included with recent delays in publishings, I'm actually starting to think bringing a new coder in would be a great idea. He could assist with the code to speed up dev time, *and* they could have someone new write the Love routes.
Oooh, or maybe someone from the community could go back and redo it? I'm guessing redoing scenes in this game would probably be pretty difficult from someone inexperienced with the code, though. A Custom Scenes mod would be insanely useful.

I have to disagree, I can't see how you can say the slave route is favored when the love route always end up better.
