Maybe 20 years ago it would be a problem, but now ? How big was the installation version of (already quite a few years old) GTA V, or The Witcher 3, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 (new), or even BG 3 - not to mention the monstrous 60+ GB patches ? In any case - I would download it anyway

Audio hasn't really had the same technological leaps some other formats have. And there's a lot of people playing VN's because their potatoes can't play anything heavier.

As an example, one of the biggest VN's on the site had someone asking earlier how do they work around an out of memory error. That game is only 10gb or so last time I remember downloading it.

game wouldn't gain anything from voicing it, tbh i play any 'voiced' games mostly with voices muted, no music, just allowing effects on low volume is quite enough. FET wasn't really designed and written with voices in mind, else they would likely have tried from early versions on.
also there's the constant issue with synch if someone decides to fast through a scene. common downer for anything voiced, barely can be done.. ok there's the 'mute skipping' solution and one could use multiple streams for several scene speeds, but that's not a really good solution to that. sound files would grow huge with no real improvement.
sure i would agree to a bit more variety in the existing SFX, i mean, as example, any slapping sound is the exact same file, so it seems.

You are right in that. After sounding it would be necessary to think not only about synchronizing scenes but also - some animation of mouth movement and further - face, which could lead to FET parodying itself - look what happens with animations and lip synchronization in AAA games ... and producers of such have huge budgets and the most powerful technology. Maybe FET should stay as it is ...

Interesting thing - I've been wondering lately - why do cartoonists give characters completely non-anatomical BIG HEADS? I understand that children's cartoons are the overwhelming majority of all cartoons, but - wouldn't it be better to maintain some boundaries of reason ? While ATLA and TLoK maintain some boundaries in this regard - Marty went all out - especially when it comes to book 3 and Toph - sometimes it borders on unintentional funny... Not to mention 99% of drawn porn that can be found on the web. I don't like the stupidity created by AI, but - I have to admit - it can sometimes do something that fits reality better than it seems. I mention this because I happened to see characters from ATLA and TLoK created by AI and - apart from some monsters from rule 34 sites - it even looked good Is this the future of the industry ? I hope not though...

The issues around the dev of Snow Daze aside, I really did like the voice acting in that game. I think VAs can really add to the quality of the games if it's done well.

right, if a dev creates a project with voicing in mind from the beginning, and has the muscle to do that extra (very large) amount of work, the outcome can be quite nice.
i did play Snow Daze the second time with voices not muted, because wanted a slow burn with scenes actually playing out, and that was good enough. on the first (the ok what's the story like) playthrough i clicked through the scenes and was happy about the Mute because well ykno.
i think retrospectively voicing a game that didn't come with that plan in the development creates more problems than doing it from the start, that's why i don't see benefits in it for FET.

Yes - you can watch a film of the wedding in the villa on Ember Island but - it's not the same )) Of course we are talking about version 1.1.2b Maybe report it to Marty ?

Can't enter Desna's and Eska's room, I have finished all the events, and kya has appeared 'back of the game' in the festival, I have done all the events I think, only I Can't enter the room with out knocking, is there a specific time i have to go or something? I have done all the events with them where i knock the door, i cant do the enter one, is it not in the update yet?

You can't enter without knocking yet, maybe in the next updates

Toph being uncharacteristically stacked like that is part of a certain route, which is only temporary. She is flat/small chested in the game.

Are you making a suggestion rather than talking about something actually in-game, or is this actually in-game? I'd rather not see this in-game. Or in general really. I've been around for awhile and I've seen these same two jokes that never go anywhere about short characters repeated ad nauseum for the last 40 years and now I'm sick of it.

If its just an excuse for giving something to oppai loli fans, I don't really care, lol. They're starved for content as it is. In that case, as long as its optional, I see no reason to object. Though, I will say doing something like Ikuya Daikokudou's Kinpatsu x Kyonyuu ni Henshin De is something I could get behind a lot better. (And could possibly serve as inspiration for content.)

Basic overview of manga is this:

Loli falls in love with classmate because he's the only man that can keep pace with her on topics of math, science, and physics. She finds out his dream is to go work with NASA, not just because he has the smarts to do it, but so he can move to America and marry a busty, blonde girl he can fuck like mad every day.

Loli panics until hatching a scheme to create a body change potion to make herself the girl of his dreams to seduce him. Lots of shit happens over the course of 150+ pages, including another potion that body changes guy into a woman and the Loli futa-fucks his womanself.

Story ends with her being comfortable with her body, guy marrying her even though she's a loli. He's even fine having sex with her real, loli, body. But they occassionally still pull out the gender/body morphing stuff just to spice things up in bed.

So, to translate that, Toph has some body changing things to try and force confidence. After some events, she becomes comfortable with her real body, but occassionally likes to pull the body-morphing stuff back out just for variety.

mmmmh yea kind of remotely something of the latter. Toph does look borderline underage, to word it carefully, and insists on being adult, and be taken seriously and all that stuff. what little i know, the original character in TV was underaged like lots of the others. it's supposed to be a kids cartoon or sumsuch..? in the game, some bit evolves around that, but it's not the main big thing of content.

funny enough one of my kids went through a comparable phase in real, went through a late growth spurt in her 20s though. before, kind of annoying when asked for ID at each and every random occasion, even when there's just some whatwasit, 'alco-pop' junk in the giant pile of groceries and diapers and stuff.. picture a woman at 23 pushing a baby in it's stroller (never remember what those foldables with wheels are called) buying baby food and diapers and tons of food and a one beverage that contains a low amount of alcohol.. baby says mama to her and she still gets asked ID because of how she looks.

Toph has small boobs but there's a mod for Katara that makes her completely flat ToT so don't miss on that one if you're into that stuff.
