It's interesting how easy you can miss scenes that you would like to get.
For example the scene with the spirits at the festival. I did it once and didn't feel like doing the same again, as I am not interested in the spirit characters that showed up. But apparently, my favorite character shows up randomly, unlocking a new scene while also concluding the thing that happened with a modified Youth Potion.
I got the scene later back in the compound, luckily. But I am always a bit afraid that I might miss something. So better repeat scenes and dialogues a few times to make sure. And keep a lot of backup save files.

Seeing as we'll have to wait at least 10 years before we get an in-game gallery mode (now that the mod is abandoned) I just save the game at every single scene.
