The end of August/beginning of September is when the 18titans update comes out.
So the next Four Elements Trainer update will come out at the end of september/beginning of october.

Mity (the dev) said that the recent patch was a smaller patch. So it sounds like the next patch for FET will be bigger. But honestly I found that the recent patch was a really great size for a month's work.

I usually don't mid small patches or bug hunts if it means new conent, especially if they are 'bridge' patches for something bigger etc I prefer a smaller patch and wait another 1-2 months for the next bigger one rather waiting 5 months for one big one, if that makes sense

Never did make it much into the Earth section after playing the Fire section robbed me of my will to live.
Writing is great just really don't need to be playing WoW levels of grind to read it.

Use the cheats in the OP post for money (and obsidian in book 3). What parts are grindy to you?
Around 800mbs in 10 years? You would expect this to be around 10gbs but damn thats impressive.

it's drawn art, none of the 3D super 16k HHHD renders some other games provide at stage 0.00.0001 of development. that doesn't consume as much space.

It used to be bigger, part of the epilogue process was Marty optimizing for size.
Looking at the release date of this makes me realize this game has been for just under 10 years and still isnt fully done. Jesus fuck
I seriously don't understand what the obsession is with projects like this being "done". The story is finished, now we're just getting extra content. It's also a proven money maker so basically everyone with any business sense is going to keep it going to keep making money. The creator even started a side project (18Titans) and it's making a whole new game to satisfy people who want a new project.

As for me, I'm only waiting for the remastered version of FET, which Marty announced a while ago. I hope that when he finishes working on the Slave Route epilogue, he'll have time to work on it. I'm also hoping for some changes within the four main books – Marty mentioned that too, especially the first book. This "world" is simply a place you want to be – I constantly find myself tempted to play again – from the beginning – whenever I finish the Love Route epilogue n+1 time...
