Hello everyone! Hope you're having a good weekend!
This update is a bit later than you're used to because I've been feeling under the weather for a little more than a week. I can't really call it being sick because it is/wasn't bad enough for that. Walking around the house not really wanting to lie down but neither feeling like doing much of anything else.
Good enough to feel guilty about not being very productive though!
Death by a thousand papercuts comes to mind. Nothing by itself enough to be a problem, but all together big enough to act as a hurdle. Fall hasn't even officially started on the northern hemisphere and my body is already acting like it's winter. How different from a mere two weeks ago.
As I've already talked about in the last update, FET and 18Titans are currently being worked on in turns and this month there will (or rather should be) a new 18Titans build.
In theory...
I didn't work on 18Titans from the start of this month. Instead I was hooking up the end of book3 to the epilogue on Ember Island so the player can time travel back to that moment and replay those book 3 scenes. Provided the player is actually playing from a save game where he finished that book.
Doing that for book 3 was relatively easy, but it won't be so easy for book 2. I'm not looking forward to that. I'll have to replay book 2's slave and love route first though. I can't trust my older saves because during the testing I sometimes manually change variables. But I'm keeping that for later. Other than that I've been focusing on 18Titans this month.
Honestly I'm not very certain I can finish a new 18Titans build for September. I'll try my best as always, but I'm at the very least one scene behind of where I should be right now and things aren't going buttery smooth. More like "first time butt fun without the lube" kind of smooth. That can change within a day, but even if it does that still won't leave me with a lot of time to do any sort of catching up.
At the start of this month I was considering having a poll to gauge interest in me doing another spooky times standalone story, but that was assuming I'd actually finish 18Titans this month. If I manage to finish an 18Titans build this month I might still have that poll.
For anyone who doesn't know, you can find two standalone stories inspired on Halloween and involving Avatar characters called "Spookytimes"

Oh, almost forgot! I'll be getting a decent internet connection at the end of this month
if all goes well. Very happy with that. Up until now I always had to put FET builds on an external hdd and go somewhere else to upload it since my own connection is too slow for larger files. There simply wasn't a better alternative for a long time.
Essentially this will make no difference to anyone of you. It's just that it will make things slightly easier for me. I'm telling you this just in case shit goes awry. I've had things go wrong in the past with my internet connection so it's still difficult to assume things will go right from the start.
And that's about all I have to mention for now. I'll go back to working on 18Titans again!
