still if you were working on translating it already then unless you just don't care you might as well finish. The MTL is barely readable so a proper translation is still welcome. THis DOES NOT replace it. In fact even just modifying the MTL to be a bit more readable would be better.

So if you want just take the part of the game you haven't translated yet, take the MTL and improve it using the part you already translated as context. Should be able to get done faster while keeping the translation quality moderately consistent.

I'm not saying you HAVE TO. It's just an idea and I would like to see even a semi proper translation.

The developers did not make it easy for anyone to translate it. They use a custom textbox that is not standard for RPGM. That alone seems to cause the text to run off the screen with long text strings and the formatting to be ignored. I did soem tests with this MTL and any formatting changes I made manually were ignored. Most likely because of the plugin the used or perhaps the translation. I dont' have a clean game version to test with. So on the surface, even if someone does a really good translation it will probably look like no better then an MTL with text overflow because of the strange formatting it uses. I'm trying to find what they did so I can learn to counter it if I want to translate a game that uses a box like that in the future but it will make the game a pain to translate legit.

Anyone knows what the 'Popularity' stat is for? The lewd changes some dialog when beeing groped or when you get the doctors treatmant after beeing defeated.
I'm at the school atm, defeated the giant robot and Serena (the blond fox girl) has -15 popularity (Lewd 109 btw). Dunno if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

I thinks it's the love level between Ryonosuke and Selena/Lisa.
With a negative score, they hate Ryonosuke.

Depends. I played the prologue and they go through job changing and it seems like it can only be done at NPCs(?) so if you skipped the prologue you might of missed that information. I could be wrong as I only went off the MTL description and sometimes those can be wrong.

I think this will be my last attempt at asking this since noone really answered what I asked a numbers of times over. Can I get a preview image of what the decensored image looks like? Even just 1 is enough. I already have the game in jap 1.20 so I don't feel like redownloading it again unless there's something that will entice me to redownload it, like the decensor for example. Or is there a legal reason as to why it couldn't be shown?

It's named Dark Hero Party here... and man that really is dark, had to stop after their initial encounter with the "Dark Hero" coz my Instinct warned me that proceeding further is suicide... Had to view the galleries just to "enjoy" it like I'm just reading a Hentai Manga... Still, learning a bit about the story from the beginning makes it less enjoyable... Maybe I'll play it when I'm already dying or something xD

I get what you are saying but you can clearly see I'm not the only one who thinks like that. There are many other people who think the same way. Doing an MTL translation doesn't benefit anyone because you aren't going to enjoy the game either way. If there's a story you can't enjoy it because all you are reading is gibberish. It takes you out of the game. People who support MTL only do it because of the porn content and don't get me wrong I like Hentai/porn just like anyone but I prefer to enjoy the content of the game as it was meant to be. MTL is not doing that and is not helping. That's my opinion on this matter. Now there are others who use MTL but then edits it after to make a proper translation. That right there is a dedication to the translation and I support that work.

Funny thing is if I want to read MTL then I use my own setup for that, which gives a back a little better translation and I can also look up the words instantly if I dont understand the sentence. These types of translations don't give you that option.
This makes MTL posts like these pointless for me.

As for the translation, most of it fits in the text boxes. It's nonsense but you can normally find your next objective I have had no problems with that.

I firmly believe that people who are making those Machine Translations are really hurting NTR games. Games become barely understandable for english speakers but they won't be properly translated ever because they are "kinda" translated. It really annoys me that so many cool games have been butchered with these "translations".

To be fair,NTR eroge rarely got actual translations anyway.
Every now and then you have someone over at ulmf taking a stab at a smaller one but thats pretty much it.
Its not like stopping the MTL´s would suddenly have all the groups jump at the chance to spearhead into the genre(much less the tons of NTR games of...questionable quality).
Cant really blame them,not even guro seems to instigate such violent reactions from the general degenerate public.
