Unzip and drop this in your game folder. It will put a black outline around the white text and is very easy to read with transparent textbox.

some grammar and spelling issues aside this was well written enough to be engaging from start to finish of current content. Characters are diverse enough and have different motivations. Could use a bit more body diversity. Renders are passable.

Hey Everyone!
Some solid progress on the 0.5.2 release has happened through the week with a bigger focus on dialogue. More Studio details and other changes are detailed below the TLDR Image!
0.5.2
Development is progressing well on the 0.5.2 release at just shy of half the work complete. This release will introduce a couple of new characters so it has been fun working on the new models and getting everything aligned. I will add some teasers in the next few weeklies with the new female Elf character model and you have already seen our new Dragon friend in the Halloween post!
As always, more progress updates will come next week!
Game Platforms (Websites)
Earlier today we were made aware of a Platform that has altered our build files before allowing download from their website. They are utilizing a Streamer/Non Adult feature that we are implementing to remove adult scenes and place them behind a paywall.
We want to say that this was absolutely not the intended use behind the feature that was implemented and we in no way support this. We have begun the required process to resolve this issue with the offending platform and hope to have some form of resolution in the coming weeks.
We apologize for any issues this may have caused any individuals involved. If you are having issues with your download from other Platforms please reach out and we will do our best to resolve the problem for you.
Studio Additions
We have exciting news this week that is going to make many things significantly better going forward. We have two people joining Virt Studios officially in varying capacities.
Blasagna: Has been working on bringing dialogue from Episode 1-4 up to a higher quality and correct any of the additional grammatical errors. The first is Episode 1 (Demo), which is complete and will be updated around the 0.6 release.
Dymon: Has been working with me the past few weeks identifying bugs and helping represent us in other Discord servers. Going forward he will be joining us as Community Manager and will also be working with me on dialogue for future releases as we continue to develop the Fractured Realms story.
With that, it's time to get back to it so we can get you the next release! I hope you all have an amazing weekend.

You can fiddle with textbox opacity until you can read it at that moment, but I've not found a setting that'll work ALL the time.
I don't really understand apologizing for the cliffhanger, as though it was bad manners or something.
Ending on a cliffhanger is a deliberate choice. Either you think they are bad (in which case why employ it?) or you thing they are a useful device to stoke interest in the next release(in which case why apologize?). It sounds like you're apologizing to those that might not appreciate a cliffhanger ending but those people would appreciate you not doing it more than an apology. It's like apologizing for being the way you are. You made your choice just own it.

In game option you can put an opacity background to the text, but it's true, if you don't know is difficult to read
I just started this VN yesterday. Great story and lovely girls, but the animations need work. There's a lot of janky parts for me. The only ones really fluid are the stock sex positions.

Not really - accept the girls you like, turn down the ones you don't. I can't remember any choices that have a bearing on the story path.
There is a walkthrough mod 4 or 5 posts before yours if you want some guidance.
After reading last 2 pages of this thread I don't understand why developers still don't put the text by default (dialogues and their respective active character names) outlined in a color that contrast with the text color (doesn't require to get a high outline value, a slight one already makes any text readable in every screen). Most the times is white text with black outline.
I am from a country (Portugal) where the norm is every foreign language movie uses subtitles unless it is for children under 12 yo, imagine if they didn't realized that an outline of those subtitles was mandatory because a text box would be the dumbest thing to put on a movie.
I never play with text boxes, they are annoying features that only block the view of the renders and animations but if they are not outlined and the background is similar color tone it gets unreadable. I always use clear/full transparency text boxes. If the game doesn't have a feature to enable this I always use a tiny mod (11.7 KB) RPY file inside the game folder that I searched somewhere on this site (textbox null DBZmods_screens).
It works in almost every game with renpy 7+, I even tried on some older games with older renpy versions and still works. Which is exactly (for one specific character) what people are bitching about.
Yeah I read that one, that was why I put that little note in the end
. It was easily solved if the developers thought about this little details before making a game hehe.
