Overview:
Slapstick Show is a visual novel based on the "Big Brother reality" concept, where Patrons will vote for who stays and who leaves.
Our protagonist: Simone Matias, an hollywood star at the peak of her career, enter the house to meet Al,
a middle age martial arts' champion with a troubled past. Things are gonna get less predictable then usual?​

I like the "Big Brother" TV show concept. What other games use this concept? Any recommendation which ones are good/bad?

saw big brother and automatically went to the stupid Darksilver game that has more clones then Star Wars

I guess its easy making a kinetec novel since you basicly take away players having a choice.. :( btw your graphics looks pretty grainy..

you better boost up that patreon tier of your, up to 150$ or something... because for 5 bucks i know shit ton of peoples who would enjoy trolling just to fuck up the whole game with choice that nobody want.

Pump up the audience and get those numbers in!
Exactly like shows work, there is no actual power given to players.
Polls are for figuring out the more wide appeal to the audience, never to change content.
Cutting competitors is the main focus of the game -> the drama surrounding that leave.

Hello, thanks for the replies.
So as for the grainy Images WE KNOW WE KNOW WE KNOW.
We've taken all the measures to keep doing the game with computers which are barely rendering!
(textures optimization, hd ready resolution, quality filter off, average 1000 samples in rendering)
all big compromises which we'll be happy to not undergo once we see the game receive some interest and people pledge and we could start thinking about putting our money into real workstations .

A grainy image is more important then photography composition? a bit of authorial directing into a vast magma of porn games that have only huge tits and zero camera movements? I wanna fap good! The big brother concept has already being used the way we do? SHOW ME WHERE!
We could afford just one main set and we went for the house..

As for the choices again, this was much of a trial on so many levels that implementing choices in game would have add an absurd quantity of work which wasn't making sense at such an early stage.
The polls are a nice trick to give the players an interactive involvement where actually there's none.
We have no idea when polls will be on and for which TIERS yet. But I'm sure we'll be able to make the best out of polls and not the other way around ;)

Patreon and Game were finished just yesterday.

We have a say:
They might say they don't like it, but nobody can say it's not good, cause we know what it has been made of.
In this case: heart and sweat and blood from ITALY!!!!!!
