I have no idea why banner on top for this game is a guy getting cucked by other guy, but the game is mostly full of lesbian and tg scenes.

Kinda misleading :WaitWhat:

Well that was pretty underwhelming, some of the endings had so much potential but they just all cut short, it's basically just Divorce husband (Yes/no) > If divorced choose your ending > Go through the ending sequence for your chosen ending, which all have one last sex scene, but not much substance. > The End. :(

This had potential but, this definitely fell down my list. Also is the game getting a sequel? If so at least it isn't all in vain. (I thought I saw somewhere something about end of season 1)
The reason why it's the end of Season 1, is because the download for the full version is 6.7 GB. There are two ways you can get around that. Either download updates only, or split the game into totally different seasons/chapters. And obviously the Dev has chosen the latter. My guess is she wanted to provide endings for the various routes in Chapter 1, so Chapter 2 can start afresh from a single point in Yoon's story. And to do that, she's had to shorten the endings.

If she chooses to stay with Daniel, we don't get the cut scene right at the end, that we get if she divorces him. Which suggests that storyline is now over. Daniel won't be returning in Season 2.

None of the love paths ultimately work, and Yoon returns to her homeland. Right at the end she has returned to the USA, to attend her friend's wedding, and it's suggested she'll meet up again with some of her lost loves. But she'll be starting again from scratch.

The freedom paths lead to the same point, she never returns home, but on both she remains single, meaning they're able to merge again with the love paths at the start of Season 2.

So you are saying the game hews to close to reality for your taste, fair enough.
If you're woman, and single, there's your reason why poor world view or shitty partner choice. We can asume you're also a feminist with a altered view of reality also. If you're a guy, and you act like the guys in the story, then you're part of the problem itself and probablt are considered a dick.

In either case, being a shitty partner or poor world view doesn't help fix the issues present, fyi...

This may not be entirely true, because what about Sienna? She came with Yoon to her homeland on her solo love path. Yoon is even in the same room that you have sex with Sienna in, after the time-skip. So unless Sienna left for some reason, how do we know that their relationship didn't work out? It never explicitly says that anything happened, or that she left on that path.

*edit* I suppose it could have just been because the endings were rushed and the dev didn't bother writing in a reason/explanation as the why Sienna would no longer be there... which is worrying.

She did initially, but after a while she returned home to carry on with her career as a film maker. In the polyamorous relationship scene, it's explained that Sienna's film career is what forces her and Yoon apart. We have to assume it's the same for her solo love path, even though it's not explicitly stated. In the cut scene following the Sienna solo path, Yoon is crying thinking back about her relationship with Sienna, which heavily suggests it ultimately failed as well.

But she'll be meeting up again with Sienna ( and Sukkhon) in Season 2, so there's still hope for some of her love paths.

What a disappointment is that. I loaded a save game and with the last update the characters now look very ugly. It also offers choices and when you choose it says you cannot do this. Omg time to forget about that game.

As someone that does pay for it ... for me it's not a scam. Just a dev, against all odds, trying to create a game with a female protag when there are those whining about it, with a trans LI despite those whining about it.

Sukkhon as an LI has a special place in my heart. I can only wish I could meet her IRL. For that reason alone I support After Choices at the highest level I can afford.

No, I believe Alley's talking about the against all odds of a transwoman After Choices leaving fundamentalist Burma while under oppression from the junta and making it for herself and her family in a foreign country where she's spent about half of the game's production life fighting to actually collect the money she'd earned from it.
Don't get me wrong, one of my favourite games was made practically unrecognizable and imo worse in every way possible except for arguably better graphics, but this game was made against all odds.
See above in yellow.

So yeah it was fine the way it was. It really was.

Remaking a game when you are building patrons is a pretty good attempt to lose those patrons.
They're not the only one to do this. It's generally not met with favorable results. You'll definitely be against all odds. At least more likely than not.

Nothing like waiting for the next update only to realize you need to wait 5 more to get back to where it got scratched.

No big deal. But then I wonder what you're doing in a threat to a game that was designed for a female MC from day one.

Thinking about your wish, i imagine it would be interesting to replace Yoon with a man, but otherwise leave everything as it is.
Do you know what that would mean? Would you really be happy if the game suddenly consisted almost entirely of gay content? :sneaky:
This is why I want AC to go back to Kathoey where the FMC is falling for a black guy and the MMC is falling for a transwoman. I want to collect all the tears of the butthurt masses that thread would generate. Add them to my collection.

I think one of the appeals to female protagonist games is that you have (for the most part) one titular character that you can see continuously be degraded and corrupted until they fall into depravity.

Unlike male protagonist, where you basically embody the protagonist and the focus is on 'conquering' the love interests, the female protagonist genre puts more emphasis into the protagonist themselves and the focus is on their corruption journey. You don't embody the protagonist, you act as a guiding force and orchestrate how you plan to watch this protagonist turn into a slut from their angelic starting point in the beginning of the game/novel.

This is also why the characters in the paths follow the corruption archetypes rather than being 'love interests'. Its not about pursuing male love interests as a female protagonist, its about selecting which characters lead to a more depraved story/transformation for the female protagonist and bring them into very kinky situations that would almost never happen in real life. Like taking a prim and proper girl at the start of the game and eventually turning her into a Queen of Spades (BBC slut), incest toy, the old boss' fuckdoll, a back alley whore, drug addicted cum puppy, and other very kinky situations.

Basically, the backbone of female protagonist games is guiding and watching an innocent, everyday girl being slowly turned over time through countless vile situations, into a corrupted, broken slut.

Its definitely not for everyone, especially with just how vile and depraved the situations get compared to what happens in male protagonist games. But for those who enjoy the corruption part of these h-games, female protagonist games just deliver an a level that most male protagonist games are not able to. You just have to be able to realize that they are designed for you to guide the female protagonist, unlike the 'self-inserting' you would do for a male one.
I know, but I might be a bit stubborn, whenever I play a game with a female protagonist I always can't help but bring myself into the role and then get fucked by everyone and I become disgusted, of course I'm not targeting the game, I'm just suddenly feeling that way myself, I don't know why.
