Does it save when you set the performance settings to medium. I am only asking because another person in here said the same thing. I'll try to recreate and fix. It sounds like some kind of race condition or resource issue that happens when everything is set to epic.When I edit a character it doesn't save.

Created a patch and updated the mega link.I'm running on max settings, not sure if that will fix it I'll try it later thanks.

So you won't play the game based on the reviews? I literally added a video in the help menu(of the game) of me playing this game. Just as an example of what can be done with it. Some of those points may have been valid during the first release. I admit there is a way to go with this game but to say its unplayable and lacks content? How much content should there be? I should work on it a whole other year to release an indie game I work on in my spare time? Other people won't play the game because some guys with ancient hardware had issues with it?

It still doesn't save edited characters also when changing names the game crashes. XD

Ok does it save if you don't change the character name? I suspect that is the issue here since that is used as the key in maintaining the character state between the ship level and the edit. However when I tested this I set everything to epic performance. Then changed some character morphs. The morphs saved but the name did not change. Can you tell me exactly what you changed on the character so I can try to recreate?
UPDATE:
After thinking about this I suspect your issue is due to windows permissions and not being able to write the character definition file inside the folder where the game is. Can you make sure your user has recursive write permissions?
Also I just tested this again on my potato laptop and did not get a crash.

Found the solution to my crashing the in game resolution was not selected. Yet somehow I was able to play it sorry for wasting your time.Gotcha. Thanks for letting me know. I was pulling my hair out over here.

Hey guy, chill. Just like you can only develop the game during your spare time, I can only play it on my spare time. And I play other things, even things that aren't porn.
I always wanted to play a game where you can customize a bunch of characters and see them interact in the world, or just see them side by side to appreciate the nuances and differences in the customizations. Your game strikes me as it is willing to do exactly this, thats why it call my atention. But to do this customization, I need to be in the right mood, have some time to spend in the customization, and Im lacking all of it for now. Since this is a game idea that is tempting for me and that I really wanna see more developed, I just wanted to show some support, to try to encourage you to go further. But play the game can't be the only way to encourage you, dude. Some folk like to play the beta, others prefer to wait the full game.
If this is the full game, I will problably give it a shot when I'm in the right mood. I prefer to wait until I'm in the mood to play, so the game can have more content, to force myself to play in a bad time and just forget it a few days later.
Maybe the game would grab more my attention if it was from another style of art, not this realistic (but of course this was your choice and I respect it) or if I could see any more in its gameplay loop then only characters fucking (but I understand you didn't have, or maybe will not have, time to implement it). Right now, I will play it only when Im willing to do this bunch of character creation, and that's not now, so I cant be your beta player. Im sorry for that. But still, Im cheering for you and for this game.
when i launch the game it says something about graphics and i have the same reccomended graphics drivers then it crashes what do i do i really want to play this game help me to find resolution

What hardware do you have? How much ram is on your graphics card. I have found that 4G is the absolute minimum. As an example I am able to run this game on my ancient inspiron laptop with AMD Radeon R5 M335 which has 4G. The game does not run on there very well but it does run. You can try tuning the graphic's in the settings menu. I would try setting the shadow-quality to low as a start then take texture quality to High or Medium and finally tune Video quality to see what settings will work on your hardware. Also set the crew size to 5 in preferences. Good luck!

I was messing around with the preferences and at some point the game stopped generating characters when I clicked new game. Now I rebooted the game and it worked fine, so I can't get a screenshot lol. But you might wanna look into that.
Game looks promising, I wish you good luck, and hopefully you won't get discouraged by entitled people online.
