Well,it's still the beginning of season 3 so let's just wait a bit and see if the developer will fix all of that and give the players the choise to continue from where they left in season 2. Perhaps he will see how frustrated everyone is,probably even his patreons and come to his sense. I think the whole messed up problem started after he decide to put his game on the Steam platform,because most people know that Steam has some rules and don't allow some stuff - he was even forced to change the name of the game from Kate to Fresh Story because of Steam so perhaps he should rethink his decision to put it in Steam and instead presented in another platform like SubscribeStar or just in Patreon like before - that way he will not be forced to change stuff all the time and let his fans enjoy the game like in the beginning. But like i say it,let's just wait and see what will happen.

There's nothing wrong with the SandBox engine,it's actually pretty good - the problem is he need to fix some of the language problems in this new season and also fix the whole messed up stuff with the choices the players did in the previous season so they can play the story they want instead feeling like this is some kind of a whole new remake story of the previous seasons.

Let's be honest, the issue is not Steam or the move to sandbox; the issue is the complete change in story for season 3, you can not create an AVN with multiple seasons, then suddenly decide to ignore all previous seasons' choices just because you feel like it. Once you put multiple paths in place for players to follow, you can not just suddenly erase those paths. If you do that, you have just ended all the previous paths and seasons and started a new AVN, A remake or reboot or whatever you want to call it, its a completely new AVN because you're now being forced to start all over again regardless of how the last seasons ended for your choosen path, And then to be forced to marry your scumbag boyfriend after you dumped him and being shown flashbacks of sex scenes you may never have participated in during the previous seasons, It makes absoloutely no sence at all, they are just giving everyone the impression that they dont care about the whole story so far, or they dont care about there supporters/followers. I am not holding my breath to see them go back to the previous season's choices and paths because i think they have already decided where they want to go with this AVN, and it's not the same way that we as players wanted and expected it to go following our previous choices/paths, but hay you might be right and they could see all the negative comments and decide we were wrong to do this.

Now, in S2 with mod from new start, I can't save. Get error every time. I checked I had right final S1 with mod. but now end of chapter when last scene happened. The sex scenes are 3rd grade level and really a waste of time.

How can that be great news? It goes against the whole not forgiving your boyfriend for cheating on you, it completely invalidates the whole point of the different paths you can take in season 2, and wait for the flashback sex memories you see in this release of season 3, regardless of your choices in the previous seasons, in season 3 you are shown you gave Oliver a blowjob in the office and you also had sex with Derick, all paths and choices you made in the previous seasons are invalid, thats is not good news for those who have multiple playthroughts on seasons 1 and 2, its a complete reset of the Novel and your being forced to marry a uselesss cheating boyfriend and be harrased and gropped by Oliver, its total nonesense, you may aswell forget season 1 and 2 were ever made.

They were just boyfriend and girlfriend, high school sweethearts, so no matter if you choose to dump Archie in season 2, season 3 now has you getting engaged to Archie, wait until you see the flashbacks in this release of season 3.

It's great news for me because I don't like pure solo feminist protag games, I find them boring with no relationship dynamic for tension.

Well, good for you, it's rather a selfish attitude to take since this novel was not just created for you, you choose your path in seasons 1 and 2, and other people choose their paths that were different from yours, now that is all gone, so its not good news for hundreds maybe thousands of players and its not good news for the success of this novel, but hay have yourself a party because its good news for you.

it's rather an *honest attitude.

It's no secret those advocating against the story going this way aren't doing so out of some altruistic desire, but a preference for their own tastes. As am I.

This is the game we play on f95. When things are going our way in a game, we use utterances like "Let the dev tell his story", and when they're not, we attack inconsistencies or find other aspects to question. With my above post I wasn't in the mood to type the usual song and dance, so I came right at it.
