It's both....

They are Kate on Patreon, SubscribeStar, and Itch.io.

They are Diana (Fresh Story) on Steam, and Oppaiman.

Besides the main character's name and name of the game being switched around, the game is identical on all platforms to gameplay. I assume to the game being rejected the first time on Steam and they had to change the name of character and game name.

I checked because something sounded similar when I read this....

I only got as far as January, no idea if it goes further but that's already nearly a year complaining about the same thing.

2 things came to mind.

It's one thing to have an issue with a game, it's another entirely to have the same constant issue for nearly a year and still banging your head against the wall.

That sounds so dumb, but I guess just having a name as a name might be against steam tos. They are wierdly harsh with those. Not to mention the 30% cut.

Well, I know if (and been told) if a game gets rejected on Steam, the only way to submit it again is to change the name and resubmit it. Now I do not know for fact that is the case here or not. There are as well a few similar named "Kate" games on Steam and could've had something to do with it, wouldn't be the first time Steam has asked a developer to change the name of their game to get it accepted.

I started this game recently and am still on season 1. So i would like to know of there are any changes between them and also if the old WT mods worls on the new versions

The new season 2 is shorter than the old one?
Huh?
And all old saves from season 1 and 2 don't work probably due to the namechanges.

Have you tried copying you old save over into the new directory? It stands to reason if the "Fresh Story" is looking for saves in the default "Fresh Story" directory it won't find them in your "Kate" directory.

Copy the saves from "Kate" into fresh Story and see if that works...

SCRATCH That I just loaded up season One saves and they work just fine...
