VN - Ren'Py - FreshWomen [S2 Ep.3 Part 1] [OppaiMan]

Art is amazing, the sound and music is also amazing, face of
characters is so real and have their own personality.
but if have animation in 18+ scene, this game would be perfect. I really like this game. Hope this game will be completed soon.

Freshwomen (0.2.0) certainly is a very good game and has a lot of potential. So far, the starting point has all the cliches: missing father mystery, amnesia, moving out to college... the story so far has done a good job of balancing all those plots with the usual sexual plots, though both scenes included so far seem a bit rushed and "out of the blue". But so far the story has done a good job of capturing my interest and the girls and characters are a bit cliched but interesting.

Renders and character models have a very high level, with different girls for different tastes and differnt body kinds. Animations are very high level as well, but unfortunately are very scarce and a bit strangely used (some girls have an animated presentation, others don't, sex scenes aren't animated...). There are very few sounds but music selection is pretty nice. And at least in my playthrough of these two chapters I found no bugs.

So, very easily I can see this game going up to five stars if it continues this way, but if it starts going into more crazy things and absurd plots it may lose that chance. We'll see how it evolves, I'm looking forward to updating this as the game develops.

PS: as a note, chapter 2 was certainly a bit too short.

The renders are probably this games strongest point by far. Absolutely incredible. But amazing renders can only take a VN so far...

1. I really dislike the MC's grossly over exaggerated expressions. It got super jarring.

2. While the girls look really good and have nice (ish) personalities, the pacing is pretty bad. You get to see most of them naked via dream sequences before you actually get with them for real...I will never understand why developers do this and think it's a good idea. It ruins all the suspense and build up. The relationship with the Land lady in particular feels really rushed.

3. The story itself isn't super engaging. It isn't bad by any means but I haven't really felt gripped or hooked reading through it.

So overall, the renders are amazing so if you are after eye candy and eye candy alone this VN will definitely please, but if you are after something with depth and substance probably best to look elsewhere.

I really want to give this VN 5 stars. It is one of the most complete visual games out there. Everything from great lighting and sharp renders to dramatic screen animations. I was surprised just how good everything looks. It almost looks like a professional production.

Unfortunately, the writing leaves you wanting something a bit more. The dialogue tries to be funny with characters like Dylan and the dream sequences, but it doesn't quite hit the mark. Also, the MC's expressions could be toned down a little. More subtle expression would be more effective.

I am hopeful the story improves as it progresses and I realize I am being a bit hard on the dev, but when they deliver visual masterpiece like they have, then the expectations are a lot higher when it comes to everything else.

Even if you don't like the story or the setup, you need to download it just to see it.

This is my favourite VN at the moment, go donate on patreon. This will be huge after a few more episodes. There are no animated scenes so far, but this will sure change. I think the things are moving a little too fast right now, there are a tons of actions with each girl.

Great update, beautiful renders, nice story and mystery to keep us coming back for more. Glad we could bang Redhead Lily early on cause she’s my favorite. Also great sex scene with Sue or Susan, not sure why you gave the Aunt & niece the same name. Allysa is also a smokeshow that I’m willing to put time into to get with her. (V.0.2.0) review
Plenty of content at a very early stage in the game, some of the best renders out there (the mysterious dark haired milf that mc starts to work for is probably the hottest milf I’ve seen in any game), each of the love interests have their own persona, and the MC is very likable. The story as far as the V.0.2.0 goes has gotten very very interesting. My only complaints would probably be that it’s unfortunate the sex scenes so far aren’t animated but the renders are so amazing that nearly makes up for it, and also it might seem a little bit like it’s all moving kind of fast for some of the characters but in a strange and enjoyable kinda way? Anyways looking forward to the next update!

For a first release, this was excellent.

The Renders
Excellent model choices. While the infamous beach ball breasts were present on some models, it was only some models. Oppa-Man seems to understand a variety of body types goes a long way in making a game more appealing that a simple one-off jerk session. It can make each character stand out more beyond "the blonde one" or "the red head." Excellent variety, good quality models that can actually show expression. Also, points for having at least one non-white love interest. Call me crazy, but I enjoy women of all types and it's nice to get that in my smut.

Characters
Nothing groundbreaking but nothing bad either. We have a sporty, tiny gamer girl, nerdy book lover, elegant dancing barista, bitchy girl, and milfs of all varieties. Their personalities are fleshed out enough for the first chapter and have given me enough to go off of to even have preferred girls. (Alyssa and Lily for those keeping track at home. Chloe is a close third). I see there are plans for stories and branches with decisions actually affecting things, so I expect the characters to get more depth as chapters release. (And since this is a trusted developer I'm not worried about a lack of releases)

Story
Kind of goofy and unnecessary backstory but nothing over dramatic or distracting, The lighting-based amnesia is definitely a first. Nonetheless it's a decent set up that I'm sure has something to do with Susan (and if not, that's cool) and it gets us where we need to be - going to college, meeting the main love interests, getting used the gameplay and all of that. Just happy no one seems to be in with the mob or something... YET! (Who knows with that cliffhanger haha)

Final
Overall, great start, full stars since this developer has a good rep and likely won't disappear halfway through. Love this release!

I played this a few weeks ago and always wanted to review it, so here i am. I would have given this a 2* but the quality of the renders! WOW! Simple the best. The characters not only look different but also act different then each other which is a massive plus.
If you only care about render quality and characters, this is a must play and 5/5, unfortunately there are other things to consider too.
For example, there are no animated scenes and to make matters worse, there is a forced sex scene. so be warned.

Marketing -> mediocre game BEATS AMAZING GAME -> No marketing...
additionally, the story is as generic as they cum . If you have played any other college type game, you have played this one too. I will update rating when this game improves because i believe it will.

Huge personal +: Plays like Being a DIK where it mixes the visual novel medium where you get most of the story and character development with free roam segments to break away from the monotony of just clicking and reading.

~ Story so far isn't something incredible, but serviceable. It has some kind of intriguing moments.

Review for release v0.1.4
I decided to give FreshWomen a try. I usually wait to play new games 0.1 releases, for both to get more content & in case the developer suddenly goes missing-in-action after the 0.1/first release, but this one had a lot buzz in thread for a game's first release.

A very sizable first release a hour worth, give or take of playing. The game's renders are very visually pleasing with some beautiful well-endowed curvy women. The Developer is true to his name as Oppai-Man (Oppai meaning "Breasts" in Japanese). I used the Walkthrough Mod & Non-Analytics patch, with no error issues there. MC is rather plain looking (to me), but he's not bad, wasn't annoying. Has amnesia, but he's not a complete lost cause.

The main plot needs to develop more to establish a stronger identity of what's the story is all about. Instead of just being another visual novel game where the protagonist has amnesia and a mysteriously missing father and protagonist is intimately pursuing multiple women who may or may not have some involvement with the unknown status of his father. Some comedic moments, dialogue wasn't overly-wordy/drawn out. Yet there was one too many "just a wet-dream"/"sexual fantasizing" sex scenes of the MC thinking about one of the girls, which is a frustrating tease for players and would make the actual intimacy with the love interests less rewarding. But the actual sex scenes were great. There's a "find the hidden magazine" mini-game feature, finding special renders, i personally can do without a such feature, just focus on the story and characters.

So far, so good for a first release.

Awesome models and graphics. Each character has a unique design that fits their backstories. Although, they all have a thicc ass, thicc thighs, or big tits (not complaining). There is one character who does not fit this description but has other attributes making them interesting.

Although this early on in the story the choices did not seem to have much of an affect on the gameplay. However, this is likely to make a more significant difference in the later realise. There is a story going on that might be good but could also turn out really poor and depends on the future execution.

However, the game has comedy in it that can make you laugh and overall I hope the jokes keep coming and might get though developed though out.

V 0.1.4

Love the models, chicks are really hot and the story seems promising. Already on my top list, I really want to look forward into it. I just wish it was longer haha content is more than enough for being a first episode. Keep up the good work!

Pros: Some of the best writing I've seen in a porn game, caught me off guard with the humour. Amazing renders alsom the girls are incredibly hot.

Cons: The girls/story don't feel that unique at the moment (but it is very early on) and un-animated sex scenes.

This is in my top tier of new games that I'm excited to see where they go!

I found this just mediocre. Story is a slightly disjointed mixture of over the top: tragic father disappearing mystery, lightning strike (!?); and slightly boring standard adult visual novel fare (college style). Art is good (but I personally find the anatomically monstrous MILF types off-putting). Music is OK. I was not impressed by the writing, and found MC and LIs not particularly interesting or relatable.

I can only recommend to give this game a try:
- High quality graphics
- Pretty girls
- Interesting story ("stayed for the plot")
- similar to BADIK
- one of the few games where I eagerly wait for updates

Fantastic art, very interesting story and gameplay. It certainly takes a lot of inspiration from BaD, which I believe is quite a good sign since that game is among the best ones around. Really looking forward for the next releases.

Amazing Episode 1!!!

The game is still very early, but the quality is mind-blowing for first release but its not like it's not expected [Oppai FTW].
I can't wait to see what's in store next!

There are good graphics, a possibly interesting story if it stops trying to pack too much in too soon .

Perhaps my rating is too low but I really detest the analytics thing and balloon tits and bums in an otherwise "realistic" graphic setting.

Characters are great. I appreciate a little bit of lewd right off the bat but typically prefer a slow pace. I hope the story is the biggest focus and the erotic stuff fits accordingly rather than pasted just to please impatient players.
