Bad compression I think.

Honestly, why does game with huge size always have little content as compared to others? Like, what's the point?

Because most of it is due to the large picture image size due to being 4k. Most of the coding doesn't actually take as much space up as the images/animations do.

I am using 4k monitor, and I always appreciate any game devs and artist who make their CGs in 4k.

With that said, devs can switch to webp format as it offers better compression, smaller file size while still in 4k resolution, or downscale the entire image to 2k or just 1080p as that is what most people use nowadays.

The torrents put here never work.
I have nearly 100 examples of this being an untrue statement. I haven't started torrenting it yet. I'll help seed the next hour.

what version is the 11.5Gb file? Does this have all 6 parts because I have downloaded the file that says "freshWomen-beta-pc" and that file is the 11.5Gb file. Just wondering if this is the full version with all parts as this game looks amazing. Any help is appreciated :)

Renpy automatically, iirc, down scales images if they are larger than your current resolution. So it gives zero benefit to render, and distribute, in 4k. The only reason you would render in 4k, or more, is to use super sampling as Daz does not have a built in AA function (I think anyway. I render all my stuff in blender, only use Daz to build the assets - Don't need to super sample in Blender). Downscaling an image helps with unwanted noise in an image. Noise that s pretty much non existent in Blender these days to the awesome denoiser it uses in Cycles.

Anyway, the point is... Stop rendering everything in 4k. Most people utilise monitors of a lower resolution.
This game looks amazing on a 4K OLED TV. 4k gamers rise up

I don't doubt that. But purely only rendering in 4k prolongs development by several months. Ocean should render in 2k then use AI upscaling for 4k. As you can mass-bulk edit many images and it would only take an hour, or so, to upscale 1000+ images - The quality would be exatly the same as if they rendered at 4k (AI upscaling is God-tier level software). Then you will have a quicker release schedule and reasonable download sizes. Deploy the 2k variant and 4k variant simultaneously then everyone would be happy. The processes some Devs utilise is absolutely mind boggling.

I used to game at 4k. Looks nice but went back to 2k - I like my games to look good and have a crazy high fps. Which you can do with a 4k g-card on a 2k monitor!

I use a low end laptop but use a 4k monitor but rn I prefer if they made a base 1k variant and up scaled it to 2k and then use for you all the 2k variant to 4k but usually with 4k shit it takes up more space and it has to be compacted more so a 1k variants for low end or a 2k variant for high end I would be fine with.
