With Guppy's mother? It doesn't seem like it. The protagonist cut ties with her when he left. The mom also sabotaged any attempts he tried to talk to Guppy (which is why he was hesitant to reconnect with her). As for criticism, he's got plenty to say against her. For instance, while he was checking some pictures from Halloween between Cassie and her friend Peyton where the latter was drinking body shots from the former, he said sarcastically that his mother was a contender for mother of the year. He's also called her a cold person in a conversation with Ashe when he told her about what gift he wanted to give to Cassie.

Isabella is a bitch. Yes, because of her past and blah blah blah. But she's a posh bitch after all. Having a romance with her... No, it doesn't appeal to me. But humiliating her and putting her in her place, especially if you're also blackmailing Britt, seems very interesting to me. You could even tell a redemption story there, having mother and daughter grow closer to each other as they are going through a similar situation at the hands of the same motherfucker.

Or you can humiliate her while making her daughter a star who gets everything she want without having to work for it, being a grim irony to her life, and a dark reflection of her worldview.

Well, yeah, I don't know. It doesn't seem to me that Isabella really hates her daughter. She just wants to take advantage of her, because she thinks she owes it to her. Is her daughter a star? I don't think that really humiliates Isabella.
In any case, I think they were talking about sex scenes there. It's clear that Isabella will appear here and there. But my preference for this character is for her to appear in the dark path as a fuckable character. As a romantic interest, I'm not really interested.
