sort of. In ch 1 you have to have sex with Nicki but the next update which should be in March if I recall is reworking chapter 1 so you can just give her the money without sex. But beyond that everyone is freedom of choice.

And well, the truth is that the renders of the first chapter look... bad. And the second one too. Up to about Brit's photoshoot. I don't think it's bad to rework that. But in my opinion it should have been done at the end of the story. But, again, it's not our decision.

Yeahhh, ideally I'd like to redo the art in sections of Chapter 2/3 eventually, but that's something that can wait a while. Still, I did do this little Ashe image the other day, just to show how I might give Chapter 2 a facelift. I didn't even change any of the lighting, just played with the background elements, depth of field, and camera position.

It's not in the game. It's old stuff taken from the blogs. One day I'll put all those images in a folder and make it available in one place.

Honestly, my main issue with Chapters 2/3 is that my camera work is just inconsistent and shitty. :'D I just put the camera all over the place, without much rhyme or reason. Nowadays, I usually only use 3-4 cameras per scene, and they're all used with a lot more intention, to maximize the number of scenes I can use them in, and to avoid giving the player whiplash.

I dunno, let me finish Chapter 1 and Chapter 11, and then I'll have a little breathing room/spare time to clean up stuff in Chapters 2/3. I think there's a lot of stuff that still works, but the stuff that doesn't is just really noticeable to me.

you could always do what another dev does. New update + rework an entire chapter or just part of it and rinse and repeat till all the reworks are completed. Not sure if that would work for you personally just an idea since it sounds like Chapter 2 / 3 would be more about the visuals and aren't needed asap.

One thing another dev of a game i follow does is make new renders for old chapters while he is working on the next one. So while he never said "here is chapter N remastered" he has been bringing early chapters up to date as he updated his hardware and learns more of his craft. Maybe that could work for you?

By the way you mentioned about putting the mini update inside the main game sometime. Can we expect the same with those short stories (From Ashe and Viola)?
