Hey, honestly I don't like it much either, whether it's in this game or there's one or two other games where you both have well written characters AND can do horrible things to them, it does kind of shock me when I read how people enjoy that.
But then again, to each their own.
I also find nothing wrong with expressing a different opinion, just when it comes to people seriously questioning someone's morality or character or act as if liking something in a game is basically doing it in real life, that's kind of fucked up in its own way, if you know what I mean.

I have a save where I’m as mean as possible and a save where I’m as nice as possible, I prefer the evil save but I play both, Might as well get all the content I can.

I get it. I think it's funny when people get really upset over a femboy/trans character in a game, who is avoidable/optional. Hell, one dev basically had to add an option at the start of the game, even though the option already exists when you meet the character. I personally like that content and laugh every time I get a facepalm over it.

In some games I may do some dark path stuff but it depends on how dark it gets. I know it's just a game but certain things I can't do even in a game. I am glad that the dark path is avoidable in FIN, I enjoy the light side better. To each their own.

Honestly this is the first game ive played with a MC that can do dark shit. At first I thought I might be okay with it. As I kind of liked liked the aspect of the trauma it caused for for the LI and allowed a storyline for the MC to be there for them and help them in other games. So I figured what the hell give it a try even tho it different since it be the MC doing it. After the first dark scene I quickly realized it was just the good writing around the dark scene in other games and allowing the MC to be there for them is what I liked and not the Dark scene it's self.
When I tried the dark path for the first time in this game I couldn't even watch the entire Nicki Assault scene it was too much for me. I ended up just skipping past those scenes but still played the path as I wanted to see what kind of things would happen in the story. I think I would honestly only ever be able to be okay with a Dark scene if it isn't the MC doing it and there is a storyline that goes with it.

I started a dark path, but saved it right at the first Nikki choice. Haven't touched it since. But that was because I actually saw what The Anti posted the same day I started it.

You're missing out if you don't try the Corruption path. There are some great scenes in the Corruption path. The Dark one is too edgy for me tho. It can be hard to navigate the corruption path without falling in the dark one but you can use a walkthrough.

I get it. That's why I originally started the other save, then The Anti posted bits and pieces of the dark path and I couldn't stomach it. Also the only girls I'm into are Gabby and Mason so far. Might do a Viola save, but not on corruption/dark.My main save is for Hero marries Ashe but I like to try the rest of the content too

I also like having the different paths in Friends in Need. I've mostly played the dark path, but have occasionally played out the corruption path to see where it will lead. The romance path doesn't interest me in the slightest so I haven't played it at all. Playing porn games is a similar concept to playing first person shooters, in my opinion, in that I like to experience things in the games that I would NEVER even remotely consider doing in real life.
I disagree with what you said about people wanting to change things in games, not this game specifically, but games in general. Some developers have subscription tiers where supporters pay more to have their ideas put into the game, as in they can actually request scenes or storylines and have those implemented. Others, such as Friends in Need, have tiers that allow supporters to participate in polls, which is a similar but more controlled concept. It seems very reasonable for a subscriber to expect their preference to happen if that was what the developer specified they would get for their money.
I've only played the dark and corruption paths in this game, but in both of those you can pursue ALL the girls in the same playthrough. Are you saying that in the romance path the MC has to be monogamous, so you need a different playthrough with its own saves depending on which girl you are with?
That seems complicated for a game and too similar to real life.

I'm pretty sure the dev said at one point you will have to choice but some girls will have a throuple path I believe. Even if this game was a harem / all the girls were fine with you playing the field. Personally I would of still make a save for each girl at some point as personally I think this game would feel off if I didn't commit to only one girl at some point. but that's just me.
