Yeah, it's interesting to think about. It's what I love about this game. At first, I was kinda confused about that encounter, just felt odd and maybe even a little unbelievable to me. But as I've thought about it more, I think I understand what Neon's going for. That's true for lots of other scenes too.
Yeah, but when you contextualize the impact of all the choices, especially over a long stretch of the game where there can be knock-on effects, it's not necessarily obvious what's good or bad, and not necessarily simple to totally keep track of.
I think this VN's design just seriously complicates traditional walkthroughs. But maybe I'm wrong. Honestly, I think people enjoy the game better if they'd just make the choices that feel right to them, but I wouldn't deign to tell people how to have fun.

Guy is roughly the same age as every mother in a slutty mother game who is bagging shotas like they are going out of style. Think of that when your boner fails.

Finally had the time to play the update (taking a small break from playing Dragon Age The Veilguard) and i can say it was amazing.
The starting scene made me laugh. The teenage/young adult girl talking with the news stand guy and trying to hook him up with her mother when Brent passes by running and screaming followed by Guy doing the same and they proceed to keep talking like those crazies are just a common occurence there.
Also hot damn, every sex scene with Mason is so fucking hot!
And there is also so much dept into his conversations with Guy. About genre, sexuality and how he sees himself despite what society may claim. Even liked the small dig at Guy's pink shirts, what you wear shouldn't change how you see yourself.
Could also say the same about Guy and Viola talk, which shed some light into the russian woman's past. Also quite cute little crush Mason had there for her.
What a asshole cop, wouldn't be surprised if he was racist too with the way he decided to focus on Gabby. Wish there was some way to fuck him up (attacking him on a police station would be stupid - made a alternative save just to check).
By the way, craziest way to find Guy's sister.
Meanwhile "Lucien" is already after another victim for his sex traffic ring. Hope Mason and his hacking skills can help identify who was the previous victim.
All in all that was a great episode that ended in a very compelling cliffhanger. The waiting time for the next update will be hard.
edit: also i have to praise Neon for the possible alternative routes in this update. Guy can either check on Nick and also meet Carolina, go check on Brittani or even find that poor sex worker called Dash in the park.

This has been a really crap year for me but when I come here and talk about this top tier game or play a new update it makes me happy for a bit.
Last update especially just blew my mind. I didn't think anything could beat chapter four or nine, but this one did easily imo.
I don't know what the future holds for FiN story wise, but I will be waiting eagerly for each update like it's a delicious KFC meal.

Honestly I have the same thoughts about the update and I didn't have sex with Mason , I actually enjoyed the Nicki and Viola content the most which is funny cause it's a Mason update more haha but it makes sense as im not playing Mason's path.

I'm really starting to like Viola Dess. She is so sweet and delicate.

same here , I always liked Viola but was a bit unsure how I felt about her until this update.
This render put her into the running as my favorite for this game. ( tho all my favorites are done so well I can't decide who I like the most just shows how good Neon is)
But yeah Id love to hold her her hand , take her out to dinner on a date then play video games with her all night until we fall asleep.

I mean, the way he acts with Gabby is really shitty. The girl hasn't done anything and even if the life lesson "drug is bad, m'kay ?" is legit, it's clearly not the good way to handle it.
But the guy probably has a gut feeling about Gabby's dad and is pissed to see another dealer just fly away thanks to money and a good lawyer.
Plus the gut feeling is not totally wrong. Ryan isn't a drug dealer. He's most likely a rapist and human trafficker, given his likeness with one of the "actors" of Lucien's business. The drug in the car is probably related to Lucien. The cop is misinterpreting the situation, but the hunch isn't out of place.
So, racist or a bit stupid ? Time will tell.

I've always been regular, so my ass had been getting the good life for decades, no roids or anything even. That changed after I gave birth through my ass, even with help from laxitives. Now my rear's as sore as Dash's and I have to try to walk around with some dignity. Oof.

that's why in game walkthroughs are the best form. you let players make an informed decision in the game. little immersion/flow breaking compared to regular walkthrough, and less spoiler too.

I thought that cop tried to apply some form of consequences to Ryan even if he gets to walk out free. telling his kid that her dad is a drug dealer, and harassing her a little, was his form of payback. Ryan will have to deal with his daughter confronting him about it.
that could be a catalyst and could easily lead to Madison and Gabby finding out the truth and rejecting him for good. opening the way for MC to get them both. even moreso if Ryan is involved in the hardcore smut.

Well, could be a coincidence, but the guy in the vid and Ryan really look alike. It would explain why he seems to don't give attention to his wife. Plus, the writer job is convenient here. No office or clear schedule with a boss, colleague and and phone line. His wife and daughter just know he's working but have no way to show at work or else.
And if the guy is shady, it's a good way to kick him out of the picture and bang his wife in the "good route".
