OMG, Guy finally changed his shirt!!! Unbelievable, at this point I thought he was going to stay that way for the rest of the story, and on the day of his death he was going to be buried in it.

I hope there's a good reason. If I was suddenly a millionaire, I'd never wear a tie again - not even for weddings and funerals.

Hey folks, hope your week's off to a great start! Sorry to get this post up a day late, but I spent yesterday getting the new demo build ready, and that kinda whipped my butt. Just as a quick FYI, the current demo contains roughly 3/4 of the next update, and comes in around 750 images. There are a few bugs in it right now which I need to iron out, but I'll be post a little bug-fix in the coming days, after everyone's had time to make their reports.
Also! If you were subbed at the Close Friend tier through 8/31, and let your sub lapse/downgrade on 9/1, please feel free to message me and I'll send you a link to the update, once I've verified your August sub status. I don't want anyone to feel like they didn't get what they paid for.
All that said, early reactions have been positive and informative -- to all the Close Friends who play and provide bug reports, feedback, and check my continuity errors: thank you! Couldn't do it without you.
I've got another 100~ images prepped for the next chapter, which didn't make it into the build, as they're for scenes which are non-contiguous or incomplete. But, you can see a bit of one of those scenes up above. Guy's celebrity status continues to grow, for good or for ill..
My main priority now is to get the rest of Season One tidied up and released, with some little image fixes and modest additions. I'll get that out ASAP, but I'm not setting a release date just yet. Also, I'm going to work on getting out some bonus Wanton Weekends content this month, to make up for missing some last month.
Finally, just in general industry news, it was announced that Google will no longer allow people to side-load unauthorized apps for Android devices, effective March 2026. Which means that Ren'py games will basically be dead on that platform, unless a workaround is found. JOI Play or a web-based option might work, but I'm still gathering info.

This devlog further proves why NG is a fucking legend. He doesn't have to do that for subs who expire or downgrade but he is. He wants people to feel like they have gotten their moneys worth so he works even harder to make stuff like WW.

I take the interviewer might be Wren's father Ron. The protagonist could also be meditating before his interview, perhaps someone might bring up the incident with the violent hobo that tried to stab him and got kicked out in the balls as response (which was kind of funny since he was making Mason's life miserable).

it's suppose to be not sure of the reason but im assuming the way it's coded it just needs to read that file to turn a False to True but not sure. All I know it works even if it's a empty file
I think I saw an earlier post that if you go into the existing “patchy.rpy” or whatever file in notepad and change the “False” to “True” and save it, it enables it.
