I’d have to check, but I think some of those options are dependent on mcdark points. So, if you’re on a mostly good path with everyone else, you may not be able to get all of Pepper’s dark content.

I use dark points as kind of a reference for how reckless and unhinged MC is capable of being, among other things.

It's fine Neon, I love vanilla/wholesome route for Nicki as well, especially her friendship bond w/ Guy, it's sweet af.

It's not so much about realism as is about keeping the story somewhat grounded and believeable. Characters have to follow the rules of the universe they are in, otherwise is shitty writing, If the story offers no consequences for your actions than what is the point in having choices and paths in the first place if the end result is all the same?

I personally don't care if either path has repercussions or not. I just roll with whatever punches come my way due to my choices. If I get fucked over and lose a girl because I made a bad choice, so be it. I can easily go back and change whatever I did, if I want to. That's why I make saves at important decisions.

Anyone who gets upset over punishments/repercussions for their decisions, like losing girls, goin to jail, or even gettin murdered by a father, have other things goin on in their brain that I will not get into.

Actually, it's an adult visual novel first and foremost. It has sex in it and other adult elements, but at the end of the day it's still a novel. There are many differing styles of these as well, some more sex focused and fast paced. Others more story-driven and/or slow-burn. This definitely falls into the more story focused side of things, with the sex and lewd scenes being an element that adds another layer to the story, but doesn't take the forefront.

Meanwhile, there are other novels/games where sex is in the forefront, it IS the focus of those games. It sounds like those games/novels might be more your speed. I say this because to me it seems like you're looking for porn instead of a story or even a game. This makes me wonder why you don't just go watch porn at that point though, or just go download games/novels and use a gallery un-locker, there's your porn.

You're not wrong definitely ways to make them stay but it will have to have some "love" scenes. Because you have to make her fall for you a believe there's good deep down inside you. So, she essentially falls in love with you while you don't with her and when her friends ask what you see in this guy she'll say he has a good side. Even if it doesn't exist. She will believe it does. Did he say he was reworking chapter 1 again?
But dropping all dark scenes with Nikki is a hella mistake. If that's what Neons going for because Nikki's already the most hated LI in game don't know why I love her and I liked her original look when she came to the door in chapter 1 the first time. She's so hated she's been patched out of the game lol I can only imagine what it'll be like if she no longer has dark content haha.
If he goes a dark love route he just needs to remember that NIKKI loves MC. MC doesn't love Nikki he controls NIKKI. It's tough to write but it is a trope for a reason. As for realism this is a relationship that is as real as time itself they have documentarys on why people stay in abusive relationships. Just throw lifetime on.

I think it's more they are scared he's going for a ONLY love route with a girl tbh. Meaning they don't think they'll get anymore dark scenes with her. TBH Ashley rape scene on lives stream should a been one of those "BAD choices" you're talking about haha. except it should a ended with the cops beating your door down from a realism stand point.
