Yup, sorry everybody, only good, clean vanilla fun with Nicki from now on. I definitely don't intentionally put in a ton of options that enable you to be super dominant and uninterested in romance, while still keeping the love interests around.

It isn't about the dominance for me, it's the abuse, degrading and wonderful humiliation that I loved. Regardless happy new year and thanks for the entertainment you brought me in the past and hopefully in the future.

Sorry I haven't really paid much attention to this thread. Is there a dark version also available or it's just the vanilla version for now and the dark version will be released later?

I believe only the dark compressed is available ATM, at least I only seen them links added. The dev mentioned there would be more added in the public release in a few days so I'm personally going to wait.

While him being good at hot scenario is true, I think you are dismissing IMO his biggest talent, which from the games I played so far he seems unparalleled in, and that is attention to details across multiple possible routes and scenarios and all of them happen as consequences of what the MC has done so far in the game. Every small variation in renders and/or dialogue comes as a consequence of past choices, its unfortunate that one of those had an undesirable result for you, but if you treat them like a monster constantly, it makes sense for them to try to escape their fate, eventually.

Nicki specifically since among Vaughn, the Loan shark dude, Brent and MC, MC on the dark path has done the worst to her, not even close. Expecting her to take it from start to finish of the VN, it would mean character progress hasn't happened and in any type of media where characters end the same way they started the story are badly written. And Neon is not a bad writer.

If you were expecting this to be the Dark Version of WVM where no matter how you play you still win everything, sorry, then you haven't been paying attention...

Everybody has things they like and want to enjoy more of.

I think this is exactly the problem.

In the route i'm playing MC is the nice guy, he's in great relationship with Nikki, he spent the night with Ashe, great relationship with her too, he is in the good guy route with Brittani, all perfectly lecit choices, but having choosed the reception brat at the end of last chapter i got exactly 0 content.

Just the dumb influencers, a chat with Brittani slut mother (and barely any interaction with Brittani, sure none sexy), and not even anithing to do with Pepper in cam.

Zero content.

I think the game it's cutting out the player too early for perfectly reasonable and lecit choice and this can derail the experience midgame. I've seen it happen to other games, that started well and ended very lame with basically a couple of hours of click forward with nothing happening and then a 'very satisfing' bad ending. Maybe because you chosed the route of a girl who's plot has been sidelined (an nothing suggester you shouldn't have had) or because you choiced to gift a girl chocolate instead of flowers early in the game again with no indication of that being the wrong choice.

With a much branching game like yours, Neon Ghost (which by the way is a great thing) you need to be able to recover interactions later in the game, or be in some solid route that happens even if your go through sideroads.

If some early choice close entire routes and the player is left with nothing to do the experience turn frustrating very quick.

Mine is not a critic, it's a concerned feedback having just had a not so good gaming experience (again with choices by no mean terrible).

I think you're wrong, the update was very content rich and I'm still amazed by the reactivity in this story, the choices you make actually matter and have consequences/payoffs.

There is a fine line where you "abuse" her and get away with it, and she also doesn't leave. But if you keep raping her, then it's pretty obvious she will go away if you don't have a really tight grip on her.
On the other hand, I can see where you can go really dark and get away with it in the Britanni or Mason route. Specially, Britanni.

feels like too many paths, going to be a struggle to put up content when there is too many differing "games" within the game. Even BADIK has this issue IMO, and its gonna ruin the development time ALOT. Not weird if people are upset, if for example in my case favorite character is Brittanni / Viola / Pepper, the update was basically not even 5 minutes long involving these. Especially considering the update was setting up a scenario further down the line, it makes the update feel very empty, short and boring (although i enjoyed the brittanni scene, tho i felt like there should have been more options with her mother).

NeonGhosts You should start adding the version number to the game's folder name. Some of us like to keep older versions of games for awhile after an update. Others will simply overwrite the older game folder which can sometimes cause issues problems when running a newer update.

The dark path Brittani gave me a lot more respect for her (if that's the right word) coming to her daughter's "aid". I still have a slither of hope that she won't completely throw Brittani under the bus and guide her how not to make the same mistakes she did when she adopted her long-term financial strategy.

Anyone who gets upset over punishments/repercussions for their decisions, like losing girls, goin to jail, or even gettin murdered by a father, have other things goin on in their brain that I will not get into.

So people that enjoy games like GTA and movies like Rambo have brain issues? That's somewhat narrow minded.

Most incest vn enjoyers don't expect consequences for their forbidden and sometime illegal actions, nor do harem lovers expect bigamy charges in harem vns nor do malewhore vns expect their mcs to get STDs. I think each group would be a little upset and I don't think it means they have brain issues.

Just because someone doesn't like a certain content doesn't mean those that do are mentally ill.

Probably right. I meant her mom will part some of those gold-digging skills onto her daughter and "help" her get more out of the deal than she otherwise would. At least that's my impression so far. If this just turns into a contract lending out an asset it is as terrible as you say.

I'm pretty sure the annoying influencers are mostly there to move the MC towards getting involved with the pink haired hot tub gal/trainer. Although there are also relationship variables with the two influencers...so who knows that that will result in.

I was also a bit frustrated at the amount of content, even though I knew it was coming after reading about the sheer amount of paths NeonGhosts was having to deal with at the end of the last update. What got me was the MC doing the check list for the day, which teases what is coming...and then having to wait for it.

Bridge episodes aren't sexy, but they're necessary at times for most games that have decent stories, and NeonGhost's writing is way above the majority of the games here.

It looks like we should get some fireworks in the next update, and I really do appreciate not having the dev cycle stretch out too far between updates. It's nice to still be familiar with the story when an update drops, rather than vaguely trying to recall who did what and when.

No clue, I'm playing the good path rn (hopefully there is a Gallery Mod in the future so I don't have to replay so many branches as I'd like to know the alternate options i.e. visiting Nicki over Risa, or the Sleazy Path).

I'd love to bang Brittani's Mom, it'd be funny if there's an option to do them both.

Had to skip Nicki's visit for Risa. Would love to bang her on that counter fr in the future.

Streamers are annoying af, would just fuck the female streamer out of spite to dump her later.

What I want to see most is a scene with Wren, lol.
