not me I only like the good guy path. Only time I ever play dark path is to see consequence but I dont watch any of the lewds from the dark choices I just read the context of the dialogue before and after. Even tho this is a game I cant do dark path to characters I dislike or want nothing to do with. I feel that is way too harsh and blowing things out of proportion when I can just ignore them whenever the game allows me which is what im doing to Gabby and Mason cause I dont want to do anything romantically with them. It's either everyone gets equal treatment on a dark path or none do from me.

I love MC and Nicki's bestfriend relationship. Dev knows how friendship works with all that bullshiterry they do to each other. Im falling for her personality cuz I dont find her hot. But I feel bad that the MC is a cunt to her if youre on Abusive/Dom relationship. But I also dont find her as a romance route. Idk whats wrong with me.
Hoping for more scenes with Nicki and a change of heart route from abusive friendship.

I can't speak about the dom path as I havent played it.
I think the problem with Nicki at least on the pure love non dom path is Nicki doesnt think she is worthy of the MC's love. So she tries to fight him or not show any emotions backs anytime he makes advances to be something more than friends. So because she doesn't reciprocate the MC's feeling back even after Brent is out of the picture , it feels one sided and doesn't really feel all that romantic. I mean even when the MC finally wins her over she feels more like bestfriend than a girlfriend.

I've never much cared for Risa either, but it seems needlessly cruel to swear vengeance against her. She's just a junkie desperate for her fix; what did the MC expect? He's the one who knuckled under and agreed to enable her habit after falling for her ham-fisted feint. If I had to seek vengeance against someone, it should be Neon for writing my avatar that way.

yeah I always thought the same about anyone that makes similar statements even on other games about other LI unless they are someone like Vulvamort bad which Risa is not. It's not something ill ever understand how one can have such cruel thoughts even in a jokenly manner about a LI in these games, no matter the circumstances unless they are literally Vulvamort. Probably cause im too nice of a person lol. Which is funny to think about cause on a regular video game I like to be cruel and evil as fuck haha. But in those games you rarely get to know any of that characters that well unlike in AVN's. With that being said these are still video games and it probably comes down to the fact I treat AVN's differently than something like Kotor where I like to be evil or will kill someone for a minor offense. Yea, it's great when you can learn more about a character and then not start to hate the character lol. A decent VN gives you a more in-depth look into a character, a great one does that and makes you like the character (unless the author wants to make you hate the character for some planned out reason and not just "This side LI is too popular and overshadows my shitty Main LIs" lol)I feel like that whenever any character gets a scene tbh. This is what other VNs would feel like if the LIs weren't one-dimensional porno tropes
Speaking of, no one asked, but yet again, I came across a new VN with honestly amazing renders that got me pretty excited to try it. Whelp, that deflated after maybe the 3rd or 4th (non-sex) scene... a lot of authors here like to write towards the style of anime/hentai and I know a lot of people must love it, but I can't stand it. I've kinda just given up and have a few VNs I've been lucky to find in the mess of it all haha
As for what you're referring to:
I fucking hate weebs, man. I hate that weeb-style of writing the most. It's just you know ... there aren't that many good writers developing VNs so I'll take what I can get. Stuff like Friends in Need are just something I put in a different echelon entirely. It's apples and oranges. You can expect good writing from stuff like this, everything else well ... it'd be great if the grammar was at least alright.
