I hope that's not Nicky's fate on the nice path.

I believe something like that is unlikely to happen. Good Guy is the first nice relationship she has in years (either as friends or FWB) and Nicki looks quite stable in all aspects, having a job dealing with the details of Guy's Friends in Need organization and even her own house (or it was a apartment).

And in the evil route she already left as far as i remember.

But, again, it's not any actual big deal for MC, so why is it even an issue Nicki is asking for help someone who is perfectly capable of providing it?

Are you also getting pissed off if your friend comes to you to help them with something they know you're capable of doing? Do you ever ask anyone to help you with something? Since, going with your logic, you'd be just "using them" when you do it?

If you haven't talked in a while, which is something that both sides are responsible for, then why is it exactly problematic to you that a friend reaches to you when they're in serious need of help? Should they first make some casual meetings and act as if they don't need help? Because this would be far more manipulative than the alternative.

Nicki needed help because her boyfriend got her and himself in a mess. She went to Guy, her friend, and someone she knew was in position to help her. This was a friend asking another friend for a favor, in situation where she desperately needed it. Yes, Brent thought that Guy was a sucker who "owed him". But why do you presume that Nicki thought the same way?

Again, how was Nicki supposed to go about it so that it wouldn't piss you off? Pretend everything was fine, that she had no trouble at all, and make strictly social visits, for... how long, before you'd consider it acceptable for her to make a request? Or never ever ask you, because the two of you haven't talked for a few weeks after you quit the shitty job, hid the fact you got rich and didn't bother to keep in touch with her?

I'd be a little sad that Nicky didn't know me well enough to just ask, and I'd probably give her shit for that and tell her her boyfriend sucked but only in a friend giving another friend shit kinda way, and then I'd give her some money. Even at this point in the story, I'd try to help Brent - not for his sake, but for Nicky's. I wouldn't just hand him cash but I'd try to find him a decent job, maybe give him some cash to help with the move and getting an apartment etc - preferably somewhere far away. Neon won't let us play the kind of rich guy who makes him disappear in other, even more permanent ways - but I'd still take steps to make sure that Brent stopped popping up unexpectedly.

Yeah that's the problematic part guys . However much people try to minimize this... she did came dolled up and playing on that angle, even if to her credit, she could have obviously gone more aggressive and desperate with it. Yeah I'd have issues with a friend trying to ask me money, if instead of bluntly doing it, he or she would try to play seduction tactics to get it.

Don't get me wrong, i easily forgave her and helped anyway... but yeah this was a weird move, enough so to be either baffled, perplexed or even angry. I get the feeling of shame, and it not being an easy request, but just do that and appeal to the friendship instead

if im not mistaken they only didn't talk for awhile till after she got the money. so the part of your argument where you say they haven't talked for awhile makes no sense to me. They were working together and talking together every day for the most part till he quit his job. I think it was only maybe 2 weeks they might of not talked . 2 weeks isn't that long , also guy wasn't making an effort to reach out to her when he moved and quit. Now if it was when she returned your argument would make more sense to me. Tho id still disagree.

The seducing part id get tho I personally never got the seduce vibe my first time I never thought anything of it if im being honest

They didn't talk since Guy quit the store and while Guy is mostly responsible for that, communication goes both ways.

That was Brent's idea. I think it's perfectly fine to get pissed off at him for trying to get money using his girlfriend's ass, but you're effectively leaving out his role in this, and focusing all anger on Nicki who, as we know from the story, simply isn't very capable of telling her shit boyfriends "no".

The way Nikki mentioned the sex part made me believe it wasn't her idea. In fact, she didn't even want to come there (her words). Brent the asshole "convinced" her to go and get it anyway she could, even if it meant having sex. But, because they we're best friends, I chose give her the money with kindness (even tho you end up fucking her anyway). I suppose after being manipulated, she may have admitted to herself, it was as much her fault as Brent's to be in that situation, so she owed it to him.

Hey, how's it going? This is Nikki from the store I've fallen on some hard times, can you loan me some money? Alot better than dressing up sexy, going on a date with him and then asking. As for why people arent mad at brent, we are, she just got the brunt of Guy's anger because she executed the plan and was the only one there

I enjoyed this game a lot more then I thought I would. Its worth the time and effort if your slightly interested by the screenshots or tags. I think its in my top 10 games I've played. Can not wait to see what else the dev adds and expands upon and wish you the best of luck doing so.
