Yes, this break is a bit annoying. I'd rather move on. But it's not in our hands either, so we have to put up with it.

And well, the truth is that the renders of the first chapter look... bad. And the second one too. Up to about Brit's photoshoot. I don't think it's bad to rework that. But in my opinion it should have been done at the end of the story. But, again, it's not our decision.

It’s the end of Season 1 - and Neon wants to do it before moving on because it’s not just the renders. We’re getting some new backstory for Guy and a few other bits, plus a teaser for the start of Chapter 11 (plus he’s been saying for months that he’s going to do this - it’s not a new thing). Anyway - it’s coming in early march I think, then he’s moving on to Season 2.

Nicky and Guy were actually on good terms. The thing is that Guy was, and still is depending on the gameplay, a fucking SIMP. Brent knows it. Nicky knows it. And that's why they decide to go ask him for money.

You, as a player, can change Guy's SIMP attitude. And you can turn the humiliation that every SIMP carries inside, into hatred. And rape and humiliate Nicky. Or just be a real man, and stop simping, without raping or blackmailing Nicky either. Or you can continue being a fucking SIMP.

In any case, I pretty much agree that it's indefensible that Nicky "only goes to see Guy as a friend." No, no. Nicky goes to Guy's house to milk his wallet. Nicky is like all streamers, instagramers, E-Girls, etc... who take advantage of the weakness of men with little self-esteem to make a living out of it.

And as you can see in my signature, I like Nicky. She's one of my favorite characters in FiN. But that doesn't mean I don't see her for who she really is.

Simply because of 2 reasons one Nicki felt guilt and ashamed to the point she didn't think she deserved to be treated good or with love by Guy for taking advantage of him.

Then #2 I forgot the dollar amount be she asked Guy for significantly less than what Brent asked her to get. To me it sounded like she asked just for the exact amount needed for the debts. I feel a E-girl or whatever else that is only interested in the money wouldn't have did something like this when they could of easily gotten more out of him.

There's a reason the entrie first chapter is being reworked...because it just doesn't...work (see what I did there). None of it came across exactly how Neon wanted it to...all this back and forth (since day 1) is going to be moot when the rework (eventually) happens.

It was months (approx 6 iirc) they have not spoke since Guy quit his job. Them not speaking is on both of them. But she does what she does...and it doesn't look good, at all. But that's going to change.

Neon took a totally undeserved holiday break, spent time during the break brainstorming anyway, and then hit us with some short "did it for Valentine's Day" update. I expected the chapter 1 glow up AND the new chapter to be done by now!

sort of. In ch 1 you have to have sex with Nicki but the next update which should be in March if I recall is reworking chapter 1 so you can just give her the money without sex. But beyond that everyone is freedom of choice.
