Somehow I think gabby viola might be a path that's being set up. and honestly, pepper seems the most pragmatic for like... She'll compromise herself and justify it after, living with the rationalizations until they stop being rationalizations and just become acceptance.
Hate is a strong word. Appreciate it exists to give the non-dark path more meaning and impact. It also fleshes out the characters a bit better when you can see how they'd react in a different scenario.
But yes, I am also glad there's a "skip over unread text" option when my curiosity got too strong.
Seriously under-rated practice. Not even full snowballing, just... Appreciation. Passionate or not, I feel like it's weirdly selfish to see scenes where an mc ends up getting blown and the response is always this stepford smiler cum glazed fawning, only to be followed up by "Whelp, i got off, go clean up and I'm getting on with my day!" I think it's a textural and own bodily byproduct thing for me. Slimy is not a thing I'd ever want in my mouth, and I don't ingest any of MY other bodily excretions.

Yeah. I used a strong word, for the strong feeling I have for it. True, that doesn't mean everyone has this strong feeling towards it. I have voiced my opinion about it a few times and someone always gets butthurt over it. I'm glad the path exists, but I can still hate it.

yeah same I hate the dark path as it's to much for me when playing as the MC. However ironically I be more okay if it was some NTR BS scene and became part of the story or something we help the LI deal with. Which is probably weird. But honestly only time id play the dark path personally would be once every new update just to see if there is a new consequences for the MC and id skip over the dark path lewd scenes.

While I have zero interest in mason as a LI I have to disagree because I find mason as a character is a good example of a character needed to show there how helping or fucked up of a person the MC can be. Because nothing is more fucked up than taking advantage of a homeless kid. Honestly mason is a decently written character so far.

Completely valid. I could see how a lot of that content could evoke strong responses. But (and I can't stress this enough) i'm mostly just voicing my perspective in response to yours, not trying to down play yours at all.
It seems most often that there just exists content in games as a false choice, where no matter what you pick everything goes completely to the same place. But here for instance being awful to one character on your first meeting makes it so a later meeting she just isn't there, or less bad means she's just not super trusting of you in that moment. Which doesn't seem to be a big deal maybe, but at the very least meant to me that it had impact. I don't know where all paths lead, but it does feel like the choice matters because it does have weight beyond "no sexual interest, so this person fades into the background" that it seems like all the other games I can think of easily have.
Like mason is a great example, I want to be a supportive friend to him, and help him get back onto his own. Nothing more than that. But the cuddle option was kind of amazing, and after seeing the wig scene, i definitely want to make sure to give him all the cuddles. And that (if memory serves) was one of the least awful dark path parts. ... Though I have to admit i kind of really liked peppers negotiation and the subsequent payoff. I fear I might have to have a save just to see how that ultimately plays out.

Nah, but honestly, I really like variety and I adore all the routes, every single one, for their own reasons.
The romance route gives the best wholesome erections and satisfactory story developments without a single tinge of guilt, yet you can still have kinky fun.
The corruption route (admittedly haven't played fully yet, but seen tid bits) satisfies the most selfish & lustful side of you where you don't wanna be horribly cruel or do anything super illegal, but you also don't feel like going through all the effort of courting these hoes.
And then the dark route lets you play with some of the darkest sexual fantasies that are extremely uncommon in VNs and usually extremely poorly written when they are encountered. It's completely normal of course to be infinitely put off by the dark route, but damn, I don't see how any non-con enjoyer could put any other game ahead of this one. It's what I've been seeking for a few years but could never find, so even if the dark route concludes earlier than the rest, I'm glad I have a game to come back to every few years or so when I'm jonesing for that kind of content.
It would be so fucking hot if Gabby & Viola 3some happened, but I'm not sure if Gabby would be up for it tbh. On Gabby's romance route, I could see MC coming back to his apartment after a good fuck with our chocolate princess and letting maid Viola suck her pussy juices off (still don't know anything about Viola, so this is pure guesswork obviously; oh god, or imagine if MC didn't tell her they did anal and she sucked her ass off instead

Nicki & Brit stand out in that regard to me, though; they seem the most likely to confuse what others want from them with what they want themselves, if that makes sense. Mason too maybe once we find out more about him. The rest of the girls may also be meek in the face of MC's power he lords over them (in 2 routes anyways), but I think they know what they actually want in the end for the most part.

I don't think that it is constructive to debate people with anti-trans views. Those comments are going to be deleted anyway, so it is a better use of your time to hit the report button to hasten that process rather than wade into the muck. People who dislike Mason based on these views and insist on gender and biologically assigned sex being the same thing are unlikely to be swayed by any posts on this forum. While it is tempting to educate people in this regard, maybe even in the hope that someone reading the posts may be swayed to a more reasonable position, anyone who has followed the JK Rowling saga knows that the result of calling someone out is usually just more obstinance.
