The problem with the vast majority of VN's...the delayed episodic nature of them can cause a disconnect at times.

To be fair (to be faiiiiiir) Gabby had more love path stuff, up to this point. And with girls departing on the dark path, the love/grey paths will have more content in the longterm. The only love interests that haven't had a (mostly) equitable amount of light/dark content are Viola and Pepper. One's an ultra-shy virgin, and the other was explicitly designed to be the tsundere, make-you-work-for-it archetype.
