I don't understand why I was always so harsh with Nicki. She's such a fragile creature and did nothing wrong towards the MC.

I don't think Nicki is innocent or naive at all - at least less than most of them. She's just beat-down and wounded.

I think it's because we as players don't know much about her at the start of the game, the game just says that the MC had a crush on her and that they were friends with the MC. The MC might know her well, but I as a player don't. And we don't get a chance to get to know her better until she shows up at the door with a ridiculous reason to ask for money. So it's not that obvious why the MC would suddenly want to help her (solve the douchebag's problems) for free.

In my blind run, my spider sense was tingling from the sequence of events, from liked picture, to showing up after not hanging out for a while all dolled up and the MC realistically picks up on that.
I wonder how much MC's inner thoughts pointing out what the player already thinking at that moment has to do with it.

Honestly if I was rich and she was asking for chump change to a millionaire like 10k as long as I liked the person enough would of been no issue for me even if I barley knew them. But that would be a one time deal until I get to know them better.

You know you guys talk about how sweet of an angel Nicki is. But you guys are forgetting Risa she is just as sweet of an angel as Nicki she may look a little mean or like a bad girl on the outside but on the inside she is a sweet delicate flower that needs extra love. I don't know about you guys but if Risa wanted to I would move and Elope with her and live the rest of my days with her.

Part of that is Brent's doing, part of that is likely hesitance about going "acshually i need help from you" right from opening the door. It's kind of like a starving person (that you knew for a long time) coming to bakery and asking for a loaf of bread, and you go on them "YOU ARE TRYING TO MANIPULATE ME BECAUSE YOU KNOW I'VE GOT LOT OF FOOD. FUCK YOU, NO BREAD FOR YOU UNLESS YOU PAY WITH YOUR ASS".
Which is to say, focusing on the wrong thing, imo.

I'm just playing devil's advocate, I didn't hate the plot of giving her the money as much as the forced sex.
I am paranoid and over analyze people's intention as a broke fuck, I cannot imagine that would not double if I suddenly got rich and people that never asked for help started trying to 'sweet talk' me into giving them handouts. I would rather give money myself than get asked, if that makes sense.

Frame it however you want, she was using MC. Had MC been poor and ignoring her the way he did, he'd get no such visit. People can put this on Brent all they want, but she's a grown assed woman capable of making her own choices. She just fucked around and found out

But since the game told how me how Guy feels for Nicki and sees her as his only friend was never a hard decision to make. Honestly after seeing all the paths where she asked for less money than Brent wanted. I don't even see any malice or manipulation behind it as you can see she didn't want to even ask. She couldn't say no to Brent as she didn't have the willpower to show backbone towards him back then.

Well, I can't say I never saw any manipulation - only that it wasn't necessary. Brent's pushing her to dress that way and offer herself up or whatever didn't improve her odds any. I would have given Nicky the money because she asked. As I said before, if she had texted and asked for 20k I would have given it to her - but that's me. I'm intensely loyal and value loyalty highly in others.
