It was a great game before the remaster, it’s not clear why it would scare people away (maybe I’m just not picky), there are worse projects on Steam, they don’t really scare anyone away, people buy them.

The graphics were trash, and the writing was no where near as good as the later chapters.

2. He is still updating the code after Chapter 7, but up through 7 it is done.

Idk if you're just trolling but there is. Besides Chapter 1, some new renders, characters and story updates for Chapter 2-3 which makes the story flow better. Chapter 4-7 are more or less the same.

Hey Neon, Just wondering, From what I recall, on the not so nice path of Ashes date, There was a scene, I can’t quite recall it’s been a while since I played it, I think it was if you threw her dinner in the floor, Where the sex scene on the kitchen floor felt a bit incomplete?
Are you planning on reworking that specific scene any?

I don't see any remake here ! Sure chapter 1,2 but all the game is the same actually with no changes.. same choices who used to be bad and they still bad and kinda forced it's like the game wants u to be dark because u don't like the choices to a certain character or just please the characters being a white knight .. like for example bailing out Madison husband.. well what if i don't want to that ? Maybe he does use drugs .. and ugh Nikki ‍♂ well i wont say anything about her she got a good personality but the approach that i didn't like .. and a lot of other forced choices in the game, its frustrating really..

Now i have ti wait till chapter 11-12 now thats bullshit.

See that's just sad. You're clearly not playing THIS game because almost all of that is wrong. The saddest thing though is that you chose this as your very first post on the site and now you're on the list.

im confused. So there's images for scenes with risa in the images folder but not scenes with her in current game?

Old version goes from chp 1 through chp 10, with a little teaser for chp 11. New version completely remade everything in chp 1, and made some ~minor additions and changes in the rest of the chapters, mostly reworking the code. So far, progress on updating is up to chp 7; soon, like within 1-2 months, it will be fully caught up. So, those images were already made by the dev, it's just the coding is being updated.

I've played this game a few years back. Hard to believe I've played this entire game, over a few days [I have to work for a living - early to bed early to rise] It's a certainly well written/worded, simple coded script, with just the right amount of story per picture. Not like some of the others with slow burn [hard grind AF], and sh!t story. I haven't had an H-Scene since playing unless nudes pics count. I'm glad there are games like this out there. I played one in the past where the Dev asked "seriously Dude?!" In the game that is. No, I haven't played the sex route, I am just enjoying the story. Some may not know how hard this sorta thing is to accomplish while keeping a well groomed story. But seriously, the Dev never tried to push the sex on me, and the story still remained true "Friends in Need" I kinda like it a lot.

If you get something for free, you should say "thank you" and move along. You should not complain or bitch or threaten. If you are paying for something you have every right to lodge legitimate complaints if the product you receive is not as advertised.

That's nonsense. You have the same right to give your opinion on a free product as you do on a paid one. It's perfectly legitimate to give your opinion on a product you purchased for free, let's not be silly.

I wouldn't say less dark, just less interesting. Whereas pre-remake, Nicki's dark path was the most interesting, post-remake it's lost its appeal. It's boring. But that's been talked about a lot, and there's little point in going back to it.

The whole reason MANY people like this game is the writing is of a much higher caliber. If you are trying to get people interested in your product, you want to have your best work right from the start so they keep with it, particularly if you want them to buy a second product when it comes out in a few years. And you are dead wrong about grammar. Bad grammar makes a story hard to understand, and will instantly take me out of my headspace. I do, however, question how you can imagine that's what I meant by writing - grammar matters, sure, but far more important is an well structured story, compelling characters, engaging dialog, and concise but clear world building. I'm not just playing to jerk off - I can go to Porn Hub if that's all I want. I want story telling. And that is what the fans of THIS game are here for.

And same with the graphics - the first chapter was trash compared to the rest of the game - not at all good marketing. And if other games have trash graphics top to bottom, well, this game aspires to (and achieves) something better. Go play some AI junk if you want, or one of the Russian games that give the exact same information 30 times over 3 different paper doll images while they harvest all your personal data from your PC. Those of us who actually pay for this game do so because we want something better.

Yep. There are two approaches to AVNs/Adult Games - there are good stories, with porn in them (like books, movies or any other medium except when the sex scenes happen, instead of glossing over them they get INTO them) and then there's porn with a story attached - the story isn't really what's important it just fills in the space between lewd scenes and provides a reason to throw in new characters. I mean, most porn movies have something that attempts to be a plot. I personally prefer the former. I have nothing against sex or naked women but it has to be a good story, well written, with believable characters first because it makes the sex scenes even hotter. The ones that are porn with a story attached I'm generally not interested in. If I just wanted porn there are whole websites for that.
