Just think about A.I tech 3 or 4 years from today. Some people hate AI cgs but I have seen some really cool shit already. I think we're about to see a revolution in rendering quality and times. The bottle neck of avns right now is the art. 2D art takes time and DAZ is not faster either, with the advent of AI that's gonna be a thing of the past.
So if you want to keep writing stories, porn or whatever, you will have better tools in the future.

Maybe not to you and me - but if you're a psycho-corrupt police detective and you are watching this rich guy, who you already don't like, playing house with your wife and daughter - you can definitely be cucked. I mean, you're basically doing it to yourself, but it doesn't matter. So MC might not be able to cuck him, but he can cuck himself and blame it on MC - which really doesn't make Guy's situation any different.

Edit: Remember the part with Brent sitting around his apartment thinking about how the MC "stole" Nicki from him? In reality, when the loan sharks came after them, Brent abandoned Nicki and ran away, but in Brents mind it's all Guy's fault - well, and a little bit Nicki's fault.

Obviously people are going to have different feelings about that kind of thing, but when someone has just had an angry breakup and an extremely stressful day and is also a teenager, it's probably not the best time to put the moves on them.

Yeah, except, you know, it's not you putting the moves on them in this scenario, but it's them putting their moves on you. So turning them down in such situation, it can come across as a highly patronizing "i know better than you what is good for yourself" which they rightfully don't have to appreciate at all, if not outright resent you for taking such attitude.

Like, it's one thing if someone turns you down because they're just not into you. But the "i'm only doing it for your own good (read: i'm acting rational and you are not)"? They can fuck right off and take their high horse with them.

This is considerably different from setup you can have with Gabby, which does have Guy putting moves on distraught and very stressed up teenager, potentially even pushing it despite her visible reluctance. That scene is squicky alright, even with the extra time now added those two had to get to know each other. But Brittani's scene feels nothing like that to me, not when it's clearly established she's doing it not even as much of an instant impulse but only after giving it a serious and lengthy consideration.

I generally agree that the massive hit to Brittani's RIPTs seems a little larger than warranted in comparison to similar examples on other paths.

That said, it's not clear that points should 'scale' the same way across different characters, and I do think there is a plausible explanation for the loss in Brittani's given the circumstances. Brittani mentioned how elated she was when Jaime's father ignored her bikini in favor of grilling burgers; it stands to reason that even if she was comfortable making out with the MC, she'd be even more comfortable with him treating her strictly as a surrogate daughter (the real world kind, not the banned-on-Patreon kind).

From this view the point loss is not indicating that the MC has done something to offend Brittani, it's that Brittani is mad at herself because she is 'settling' for the less normal lifestyle. The later drama with Jaime may reinforce this point, but she had already done the true damage by then - and technically she does lose the points long before Jaime returns.

Admittedly, by that logic it would probably make more sense for Brittani to gain RIPTs if the MC turns her down rather than lose points if he accepts her advances, but at a certain level we're just nitpicking. As Neon says, these are behind-the-scenes mechanics meant to help channel the player onto the most appropriate pre-scripted branch available; they can be as janky as they want to be as long as the end result come across coherently to the player. The only downside to a janky system is that it's easier for the developer to make mistakes, but that's a matter of execution rather than design.

On that front, I can't really comment about the branch in question as I've never tried making out with Brittani and have no plans to do so. I can say that the path where the MC keeps things platonic works pretty well. I still think it's weird that Brittani would flash her 'bazooka' at the MC in Chapter 8 given these circumstances, but it's not *that* far out of character for her.

IIRC this only happens if MC who turned down her advances told her that it's "because it's not the right time", i.e. indicated he generally is into her. So she might feel comfortable enough with the idea of teasing him like that.

Only 55 people voted, and since you can use a VPN to vote multiple times, it's hard to take the results seriously. I'd find it more credible if users were required to create an account to vote. As it stands, the poll is too easy to manipulate, and I think that's exactly what happened.

Yeah I mean I voted once but tbh I wasn't gonna trust the results anyways. I've seen how biased polls for AVN's can be on reddit. Then seeing how low the other girls came makes it seem odd to me especially since we were able to up for 5 or 6 girls. If it was limited to picking one girl be easier to accept for me. But with the fact you can pick multiple and yet Nicki only got 5 votes compared to the top 2 with 20 and 11 makes it seem very odd
