Yeah, I'm still behind. Haven't played since the druggy was pushed onto us. I really don't want to play the bad guy for any of the girls, but for her, I have to. So, I'm not looking forward to catching up.

The biggest problem with the game is that all the girls are way too passive towards the MC and his assets.
They all feel like damsels in distress waiting for their opportunity, like bastions of purity and selflessness.

I wish the girls were more egocentric and self-centred. Or have some of them that have these qualities. Some like Viola should definitely have these qualities due to her knowing the reality of being poor.
Instead of Guy walking around and deciding to "romance" them, they should push themselves into Guy's life and try to claim a place at his side. Of course with you having the option of rejecting them.

If NG does do a sort of DLC route for Isa when the game is finished it could be a very interesting route. Guy isn't dumb he knows what she wants so how does he interact with her? Lots of good possibilities there.

It's not that Neon WANTS to make a SFW version, it's that it may be required to sell through Steam, which is a source of income which can not just be ignored, as there is NO other platform which has the same kind of ceiling.

And the action should be to make the normal
Game and if needed for steam make a version that fades out the hardcore elements.

I'm not a r r o g a n t enough to sit here and say how many or how few years a dev cycle is supposed to be.

It doesn't really matter in the long run. You can still romance Britt if you do that scene I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, people should keep in mind that this game gives a lot of leeway with LIs paths. As long as you don't assault them, and aren't overly cruel, you have some freedom of movement between the various routes at certain points. Corruption <-> Romance <-> Friend <-> Corruption <-> Romance.

Well, the concept of the game kind of plays heavily into being direct, not passive. On top of that, I think what you're looking for goes against what most players are seeking in a VN; nice, likeable LIs that you can romance. You can squeeze that attitude out of them depending on how you treat them, though. Try going for corruption route, maybe on the meaner side? I think Pepper, Gabby, and Ashe give those vibes on those routes, maybe others too, not sure.

The only character that's naturally like that is Isabella, but she's not a LI. Tessa is definitely a bitch, but she doesn't seem to have any interest in the MC; she feels like dark route bait more than anything hehe.

Assuming you've only played the lover, friend, or corruption routes..

Nicki: Multiple sex scenes, many nudes.
Ashe: Multiple sex scenes, many nudes.
Gabby: Blowjob and oral scenes, many nudes. Sex scenes coming in the next update.
Viola: Voyeur show, nudes.
Alex: Nudes in main game and more nudes in A Slave to Desire mini-game.
Mason: Multiple sex scenes, many nudes.
Madison: Nudes.
Brittani: Tit-job scene, nudes.
Pepper: Nudes and directed sex acts in Blue Valentine mini-game.
Risa: Sex scenes, footjob scene, nudes.

So, of the girls in the main image, we haven't seen Carolina, Wren, or Cassie nude yet. Given that one was downgraded, another is a buttoned-down working mom, and the other is your sister.. I feel like it kinda makes sense, yeah?

I get any frustrations with how fast things move -- I do! I wish I could go faster, too. But as I've said before, I'd love to know where people are finding all these frequently-updated games with a ton of plot movement and renders. I mean, since February I did Blue Valentine, Chapter 1, new stuff for Chapter 2/3, and now I'm 850~ images into the new update. I'm on track for about what I usually do: three updates, a couple of mini-games, and a bunch of blog content.

Like, the new stuff I did for Chapter 2/3 was around 500 renders. I banged that out in a month, and there are some games that drop an update like that once a year. So, I don't feel terrible about my speed. I'd always like to be faster, and I'm always doing what I can to maximize my time and efficiency. But unless I suddenly split like a flatworm into a team of Neons, there's not much more I can do.
