isn't that what the dark patch is for ? to allow him to sell his game on big platform without loosing the game's core ? yet all i see is what make the game stand out of the mass is taken away

Rhesus Focking Chrysto, I feel (AGAIN, AGAIN!!!) like I'm in a timeloop but this time it's on me for spending the day on this fucking forum.
How is anything being taken away? I agree with the first part of your message: the patch is there to bypass modern stupidity, okay. How does that take anything from anything? Like, I'm in a place where Internet is BAD, like BAD-BAD. But downloading a 0kb file still takes absolutely no time (hey, no shit?!). Better yet, I can create a .txt file, change it to .rpy (or rp...something...y, I don't remember and I'm too lazy to check the folder on my desktop) and tadaaaa!
With the patch, nothing gets taken away. The patch is easy to install and/or create. So, how does anything that has been hapenning take away from the game?
I understand the complaints about S02 taking time, but about content being removed? About dark-path being lessened? No, just no.

The problem ? back to V0,70 & before you was able to play Gey, now all you can do is play either White or Black.
Before you could be sweet & gentleman at the start & end with raping the girl, or be mean/brutish & finish sweet/romance, now it's either full romance/good guy or full rapey fest if you want to enjoy the dark patch content.
You could be sweet & loving with 1 girl & a motherfucker rapist with another.
The "Inbetween" is what is taken away.
Even more if it become mandatory to rape both the brazilian girl & Niki & be a assole to the street girl/boy to "unlock" the dark patch...

You had to apply the dark content patch for the dark path options even in the original iteration, so by not applying it to the current one you are effectively comparing apples to oranges.

Okay, I get what you're saying. I don't agree because I feel you can still be quite "grey" depending on the girl, so overall yeah, it's still quite ambivalent. But okay, alright.
What I'm getting from what you're saying is that you can't switch from being nice one night and fucking skullfucking the same girl the following night. I feel like it's quite normal? The game offers choices but alright, maybe not all choices, and maybe not the choice to be fucking bipolar. Because to me, that's what you seem to be asking for. "Hey girl, I really like you, you're my muse, etc." and then "Aaaaaiight bitch, now it's time for the facefuckfest". If that's what you're complaining about I'm sorry but I, for one, feel like it's quite a better writing choice to have a protagonist that is devoted to his way with a little leeway than a pure bipolar psychopath.
When you read a book, do you like when the hero switches from being a hero to a villain and back again without prompting? If you do, I don't know what books you've been reading because none of those I've been reading are like that. Like, it's narration, isn't it? The hero can go through changes but not that drastic.

You can still do that. Guy can e.g. be an asshat with Nicki but correct his course mid way. Or be pleasant at the start of her visit but get increasingly unhinged.
Raping people already *is* dark patch content, so by doing it you are not "unlocking" anything but already making use of what it allows.
(and iirc the late-game dark content options in the original were gated behind certain amounts of "dark points", accumulated through Guy's previous choices, so if this is what you mean by "unlocking" then it is nothing new)

I haven't seen anyone mention it but the Lucien content at the end with the girl on the couch is missing from this version or did I mess something up?

Not sure what exactly you are referring to, but I definitely saw that scene when I played yesterday. A naked girl drugged out of her skull while Lucien took pictures of her. I don't remember if the old version was longer. I play a Good Guy path though.
Yeah, no in 0.72 you take a turn with her and then Lucien's goons take her away and she says "Please kill me"
