Hey, friends! Hope all's well with you and yours this week!

At present, the next chapter stands at over 1100 renders. I've wrapped up Alex's scene that I was working on, and now I'm doing some small scenes with Cassie. After that, it's onto the Gabby material that will comprise the end of the chapter.

Of course, I still need to get the last two chapters of Season One in order, so that remains in my periphery. I've been working on the code with my laptop, while my main PC runs renders. Maximum efficiency or burning the candle at both ends? You decide!

Unfortunately, there's just not a lot of interesting stuff to talk about right now. I've just gotta do what I've been doing, and keep chugging on the rendering front. If I can get these Cassie scenes and the Season 1 stuff done by the end of the week, that'll put me in a good position to burn through the Gabby renders over the rest of the month. If I finish this week's work ahead of time? Even better!

And I say this as someone who hasn't even completed the rapist route. I'd be perfectly fine with the game being vanilla only, especially if it would mean faster development. But removing content is ALWAYS a bad sign.

C'mon dude, there's no way you're serious. Nothing of substance was removed. Stop being dramatic. Follow the instructions I gave and you haven't even lost a thing.

NGL, "Gabby the bookstore assistant RPG" done in this style could be legit fantastic. Especially if it pulled off similar quality to FiN, instead of the usual "corruption" nonsense you get with the female protagonist porn games.

As an artist (do people know I draw stuff? I don’t know if they do, but I’ve done stuff for the game) I have a lot of criticisms of AI, which other people have addressed ad nauseam.

But, in spite of all that, I do find it fun to play around with.

I like combat! To be honest, I'd prefer it if you didn't rework the entire game, but if you add a mini-game with combat, that would be great ;D

Oh, thanks! I was really happy that doing the remake allowed me to do kind of a side route for Ashe, where you almost threaten her job into sleeping with you, only to relent at the last second. Previously that just redirected onto a friend route, the threat being awkwardly handwaved away. Now it leads to more easily accessing the light corruption path, which you describe.

I've told my Discord this, but that route's really made me want to build a better light corruption route into Gabby's path, too. I already have some ideas, and I'd love to redo all that stuff taking place at Gabby/Madison's apartment to accomplish it. I imagine I'll eventually remaster those chapters to do just that, but for now I just try not to think about it. :'D

Really looking forward to a rerender of the other early chapters, with some fleshing out. Well worth waiting for before continuing with the story.

Grey. Kind of a jerk, but not vile. So far, it's probably the path with the most content and I can see the romance paths starting to conflict in the future. Dark path will eventually narrow down the options.
