At the end of the day it's fine. Could be just a case of "Always wanting more of what's good". The game is great and i'm sure it will continues to be great no matter what. And i probably just played to much VNs who end or will end with an amount of content i deem below what should be the minimum for each girls individually. Hence why i'm "worry" . We'll see.

Or maybe I've been following this game since chapter 1, I even funded it for a while, but it's been going down a path that doesn't please me as much as it used to.

In fact, it's messages like yours I was referring to earlier. At the slightest criticism, someone has to come out and defend this game aggressively as if they'd been insulted. Why? It makes no sense. It's just a game. Do you enjoy it? Good for you. I enjoy it too, even though it doesn't appeal to me like it used to. But you have to understand that there are people who don't like it. People who hate it. People who, even if they might like it, see its flaws.

Some of you are like those hordes of zombies who defend a politician, or a singer, or even a company; as if their lives depended on it. It's so absurd that I don't know whether to laugh or cry at human stupidity.

I'll laugh, it's much healthier.

I was literally just giving a factual description of the required steps to get the Ashe alleyway scene. That's it. I can be pretty antagonistic towards people making insane takes on the game, but this post was just me being helpful.

I am curious on how Neon will write the wincest, as it's firstly the age difference between the 2 siblings is pretty big. And secondly especially if our dude is on a dark path it's gonna be wild.

I'll just provide some suggestions:

1) Nice guy path- Sister takes the initiative, probably has a hidden brocomplex

2) Corruption path- Guy takes the lead, but it's mutual. Maybe guy blackmails her or something.


3) Dark Path- This I recommend should continue from the blackmail route, from where you can either diverge into corruption route, if you wanna turn the blackmail into genuine attraction, or the other one is Guy just being a full on controling, obsessive freak. And he justifies it as "his love" for her. I don't think it should just be "oh she is hot that's why I do all that", but like make it a dark obsession, kinda like a male yandere or something, where he is controlling and obsessive over her.

I'm not sure exactly when this game was started, but half-way completion isn't scary when we have this much content after 2-4 years of development. There's still a lot to go!

And when that time comes, sure it'll be bittersweet and we'll have to say goodbye to some characters. But, hey, we won't have to say bye to Neon, he'll probably want to continue making VNs, even if they're smaller and have fewer characters. If we're lucky, he might even make some additional add-on content for FiN.

I personally hate when VNs or TV series go on forever only until they stop making money, rather than respecting the natural end of the story (if they even have much of a story). I think it's something to be excited about rather than dread.

Well, considering there's multiple flavors of corruption/domination routes, and multiple flavors of romance (loving vs toxic), it only makes perfect sense for dark route to have multiple flavors. And it already does, really; for example, during Ashe's date on her dark route, MC can apologize and feel remorseful, albeit in his own psychopathic version of it. Or he can be lenient or fuck with her expectations (however you interpret his motives in the scene) by just letting her leave right away. Or he can drug her and do his thing. Or he can just brutally rape her again like he did in the alley.

Totally fair, but one of them is sure being set up to be a pure violence version. She is SUCH a brat, and there is no way the darkest guy isn't going to decide to punish her for her behavior.

I’m going to try to get it out a bit before. I've just been trying to make as much forward progress on the new chapter as possible at the moment. It might seem weird, but when I feel like I'm in a good rhythm, whether it's writing, coding, or doing the art, it's very hard to switch gears. It tends to make me mentally stall out for a couple days as I ease back into one task or another.

A while back I actually did a rundown of how many love interests' stories have been advanced, how many have had nude, lewd, and full sex scenes, etc. And honestly, most are pretty well on their way. The outliers are Viola (a shy virgin), Madison (a married woman), Carolina (a stoic single mom), Pepper (a very guarded girl), and Alex (who just hasn't been around much.)

Nicki, Ashe, Mason, and Risa have all had a full gamut of nude and lewd scenes. Gabby's is coming in the next update, Britt's in the one after that, and Carolina's in the one after that. Nicki will give you another chance to be her boyfriend, if you missed it. Ashe, Gabby, and Mason will be doing the same. So, in terms of the relationships advancing, and the characters' individual stories advancing.. I think I'm doing alright, so far.

That said, I'm honestly not super interested in giving every single love interest a super detailed love story. As you'll see in the upcoming chapter, I use a montage to handwave some offscreen relationship development, and let readers fill in the gaps a bit. It's just not super feasible (or interesting, in my opinion..) to dwell on every little moment in a relationship. Instead I want to give every love interest a robust sex scene, a few cute moments, and an ending that leaves you with the warm fuzzies. And I want to work on advancing the micro and macro plots with each update.

I'm also trying to leave little chronological gaps between chapters, so I can fill them in with more mini-sodes later. For instance, if you're on Gabby's romance path, this chapter ends with you and her together in bed. The next chapter picks up a week later, and you're shown that you've been fucking like rabbits all week, while enjoying dates on the sly. That gives me a gap of a week, where I could go back and add an event with a love interest.

My biggest problem with how I structured Season 1 was that I didn't have those gaps in there. Things basically went day-to-day, and it made the events of the story feel hyper-compressed, and didn't really allow me to go, "Aaaand during this gap, you an Gabby were sneaking around and making out. Aaaaand during this one you took Nicki on a date. Aaaand during this one you took Jun to a gangbang. Aaaand.."

Dev Update! 11/3/25

Hey folks, hope you're all doing well this week! Between daylight savings time taking effect and the weather changing, I'm feeling a bit out of sorts. But, we persevere!

Over the weekend I dropped a new teaser for the Close Friend tier, which added ~400 images to the previous total. This update has everything but the last scene, which is still being worked on. I did get it up a day late, so if anyone was subbed to the Close Friend tier over the month of October, but dropped off November 1st, shoot me a message and I'll PM you a link to the build once I've confirmed your sub status.

I'm still trying to knock out as many renders as I can, while I feel like I'm in a good groove. I had to halt things for a bit in order to build that teaser, but now I'm back at it. I'm going to try to get back to fixing up the remaining Season 1 chapters that need to be integrated, but I've been finding it difficult to switch gears. I probably just need to force myself to do it.

All in all, I'm happy with how the chapter's shaping up. I just need to bring it home, now. The scene I'm working on is the big ero scene I've mentioned, which features Gabby. That's really the main version of this chapter's ending. Buuuut, I also wanted to give a little something to people who might be keen on a different love interest. So, there are some smaller alternate endings with Nicki, Mason, and other less prominent characters.

Finally, I missed posting last week's Sneak Peek of the Week because.. I was mentally fried. To make it up to my loyal $5 tier, I'll be posting a little mini-game I made a few months ago, which you can see an image of up above. Now, when I say mini, I mean mini. It's like <25 images, and something I made as a kind of a proof of concept for a lighter, sillier game. It's something I'm always kinda turning over in the back of my mind as something I'd like to play around with. It all takes place in the same location, there's a very small regular cast, and I devised it around this idea that each episode would be short, sweet, and self-contained. Think of it as the network sitcom to Friends Indeed's cable drama.

Obviously I'm too busy to mess with it now, but hopefully people will enjoy seeing one of my weird little experiments.
