I think there are two branches of 'tradwife': the sexist kind where men, and some women but especially men, harken back to a time where women's place was only the home and hearth, and that's where they belong; and then the second kind is a woman choosing for herself, based on her own values and proclivities. One's toxic, and the other is just a woman's choice that I think people should respect. So, I purposefully chose the wording 'sexist baggage' because I don't think it has to be sexist, and in fact I was leaning into the more wholesome interpretation. Maybe that's not how most people mean it, but it's how I meant it anyways, just to clarify.
I'm glad we agree on Pepper, though! This is honestly going to be my Pepper fantasy going forward.
And, I guess if we entertain 'reluctant tradwife' via a toxic romance route, then really any of the LIs could potentially be that, but especially LIs that crave approval and acceptance. So, really, Risa is kinda perfect for that if you think about it, imo. In that light, so are Nicki, Brit, Gabby, and Mason (though, the first three can be really headstrong about certain things, so who knows). But, not a true 'wholesome tradwife', I agree with you there.

I absolutely endorse the idea of fucking trad wives. Letting them experience great sex is the best way to show them what they are missing, and undo the brainwashing that got them into that mess in the first place!

I can get behind the idea of chosing voluntarily to be a stay-at-home-mom as that would be my dream-life (but as a stay-at-home-dad and without the dad part), but the modern propaganda that shows the lives of women in the past, without rights or agenda, as a perfect model is obviously destructive. I think to me it's tradwives vs stay-at-home-moms, but that's just semantics. Your "wholesome tradwife" is my "stay-at-home-mom/wife".

I haven't touched the game in a while except for checking out the rework and I'mma need to scratch that itch soon! Even just replaying the end of (the full) Season One, it's been a long time...
Maybe instead of this kind of off-topic we can all join in a mass ritual to summon new content? We'll need to sacrifice a virgin... I'd propose Viola but half of the forum will hunt me down if I do.

Nah, to be fair... I don't really talk about tradwives as a subject really ever, sooo... maybe it is understood in the toxic meaning most of the time. I've only ever seen the meme, and I thought it was funny. But yes, basically I guess I'm talking about stay-at-home moms.
And with Risa, I totally get what you're saying, and you're not wrong, but... I guess what I'm imagining is this: so, Risa has daddy issues, I think because (armchair psychologist incoming) she didn't get the love she needed as a child from him, which as a child she probably internalized as "I'm unlovable" or "I'm not good enough" or "love is earned, not freely given". This would explain her addiction problems and her tendency to avoid commitment (she only sees disappointment ahead), and this mentality would carry into all of her relationships, especially with men.
So, if we imagine a Risa that falls in love with Guy, and deep down probably wants more than just 420 fuck-buddy (her indicating otherwise is probably defense mechanism), she would likely feel beholden to what Guy wants from her or what he wants her to be moreso than a woman with a healthy mentality and attachment style. She would feel like Guy's love is conditional, and what does she probably fear most? Rejection from her loved ones. That's just my opinion, obviously I don't know how the author sees his own character or what his plans are.
I agree. Would be great if this was added to the plot. Im not really into the overlly tanned and tattooed look.

I don't know if you're serious but reading "the Discord of supporters", after talking about a mass ritual and kinda forgetting that Discord is a thing just made it seem like that's the name of who we are, like a flock of birds but it's a discord of supporters. Which would be appropriate given the range of opinions on this game and its LIs

Dev Update! 11/10/25
Hey, folks! Hope you're all doing well this week! I sprained my dominant forearm and have basically no grip strength in my right hand.. So, that's new and challenging. But, it's slowly getting better, and it hasn't affected my work toooo much.
Speaking of which, the work continues, but I'm not as far along as I'd like to be. I took a little time to work on Season 1 stuff this week, and re-integrated one of two remaining chapters. Need to do the last one yet, and then test to make sure all the variables port over. I also did some art for the season's epilogue, some of which you can see above. I'm still got a little of that left to do, but it's getting there.
I keep ping-ponging back and forth between Season 1 and Season 2, and it's kinda been playing Hell with my workflow. So, I'm going to commit to getting S1 wrapped up over the next few days, release it, and then pivot back to finishing the last scene for the new chapter. I've got 70~ renders done for said scene already, so I've got a good jump on it. But, there's still more to do. Plus, some of my supporters over on ye olde Discord did ask me to add an additional dozen or so renders to one scene, so I had to do that. I'm nothing if not a people-pleaser.
In general miscellany, I released a little proof-of-concept mini-game called The Inheritance, for the $5 tier. This is a little project I cooked up back in June, when I had an afternoon free. It's only 20 images in total, so I wouldn't recommend upgrading your subscription just for that.. But, if you're already subbed at that level, go check it out. Reception's been warmer than expected, given it's a pretty big departure from the more grounded work I'm known for.
I also did a 19 image photoset based around Gabby and Brittani, for the most recent Wanton Weekends. People seemed to dig that one.
All in all, not much to report today. I'm focusing on getting S1 out ASAP, with the goal being Friday. Then my full attention will go to getting the new chapter out this month, and I'll finally feel like I can catch my breath a bit.

And though I'm unsure how he is inserting it, yes, he is adding a bunch of renders to one scene after one or two of the $15 tier of supporters made a joke, which kinda ballooned from one render to 10-15 renders when everyone else started making suggestions.

I’m stuck at the day job today, but had some time to experiment with something I’d been putting off for a bit: integrating the text-based short stories into the main game.
After some experimenting, I managed to land on something I think looks pretty good. It’s very minimalist, but I dig it. I may eventually experiment with different frames to better capture the mood of the story. But for now I just wanted something that wouldn’t strain people’s eyes too much.
