VN Others Completed Funbag Fantasy: Sideboob Story [Final] [Waffle]

I keep getting this square symbol appears in many lines of dialogue but not all of them.
Can anyone help me out with this? It doesn't make the game impossible to play or anything but it is annoying.

Only 2 of the girls come out of this better than they did in the first and that's Gladys who was missing for the most of the original and Shamsiel who's pretty much the main focus of both.

The biggest downside was the lack of Isis. She was there but after playing such a big part of the first she kind of fades into the background after the first quarter. She gets one night to herself and then you barely see her again.

I just can't get over how badly Lute was screwed over in this. The problem is it gets hard to read when everything is boobs. Take the first one, he has enough common sense to know arresting the generals was a bad idea and knew enough about tactics to put them in the right places to suit them, in this game he'd just scream "boobs" and start drooling.

It's more a disappointment than anything though. The first game was surprisingly good. I didn't think i'd enjoy it but it was entertaining and I enjoyed it from start to finish. I expected more of that but it was weaker in every aspect apart from Gladys and Sham.

Emeralia is a lot better in this one too. She didn't get enough screen time in the first one after she was saved so it's nice to see her now she's opened up a bit.

I can understand them wanting to shift focus over to the girls, they are what we came to see, but they could have done that without making Lute so one dimensional.

True, But thats what usually happens in case of VN's after the 1st main one.
Look at Maji de watashi,
the first one is super long with dozen of different wacky,good and bad endings. Then Maji S is mainly an after story for each girl + 1 new plot thats it..

I was hoping they would touch upon Lute's origins or whatever he is, the stuff Shamsiel mentions, Then I thought i guess they are keeping it for Fantasy 2, But it turns out Funbag Fantasy 2 isnt even Lute's story. Its some new guy.
His story is continued in Fantasy Gaiden 2/ which isnt even getting translated.

Have you ever considered that playing the game would get you what you desire?

If not, just google the games title and add CG. Seems a complete waste of time to download a game just for the pictures when you could just look up porn.

Attached is a 100% save with all the Extras unlocked, just put it in the folder below:

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\
Full Path: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Waffle\FunbagFantasyGaiden

Note: I've also included a 100% save for the first game.

Walkthrough

1. Hold down CTRL to skip through everything.
2. Save when given the choice of Annexation of Cession.
3. Go the Annexation route, and Save at the 2 cutscenes with 2 options. Choose option 1.
4. Re-load those saves and choose the 2nd option.
5. Load the first save and choose Cession to unlock the last few scenes.
6. Done 100%, see the Extras on the Main Menu.

Updated Save: 2023-11-30
- Not sure why the save didn't unlock the full gallery after checking it again.
- Played through the game again to unlock all the CGs and double checked it, so it should be fine now.

Anyone worried about KF2(FF2?) I originally watched the Anime and instantly fell in love with it. The Game goes further than the Anime so it "stayed" interesting. Gaiden(Sideboob story) is a continuation so it was a no brainer playing it. But FF2 takes place in the past, holds no characters I'm familiar with, and has no Anime counterpart. Before KF(FF) I'd gloss over the story of all the VNs. Hopefully it keeps my attention.
