right now i would wait to download. the games concept and art is very fun hower it is severly lacking a lot of key concepts that makes the gameplay stale af. for such a massive world theres no minimaps or fast travelling so your stuck guessing where quest locations are roughly or fucking off for a while on the other side of the map for a non repeatable sex scene or baisc quest rewards.

its pretty enjoyable as bone frames go. i really like the designs of the chars cant wait to see when its a little more built

Agreed! The outside of Cliffshade was intended as a very optional side area which you could explore more if you wanted, with the interior being having a lot more content density. But because we had never worked with branching stories before that kinda took a sharp turn for the worse and eventually it became literally unplayable with the amount of bugs and issues we were encountering.
But due to some real life drama we needed more funds if we were to continue on the game. So we've largely focused on expanding the outskits of Cliffshade instead. Originally Kara was just a one and done fetch quest giver, but we are currently expanding on her story, Nagara's story and the two cat servants that currently has little to nothing to add.
There will be fast travel points in the future, but we haven't given much thoughts to adding them around the outskirts. Probably no minimap but we have looked into a Questlog. But as you can imagine there is still a lot more things to do and few hands on deck to do it. XD
But we are giving it our best shot.

Romance is more intended for the modest and 18+ game modes. The nymphomania is very much intended to be a porn parody version of the event of the game. We do have a planned narrative framing device where the Nymphomania story is Septim retelling the story at a tavern to impress people.
That being said, there isn't much if any romance in the current build as the outskirts of Cliffshade was designed to be a optinal side quest area which you could just run straight through and never return to if you so desired. The interior of cliffshade was our main focus through out 2021. Little remains of that work because we are very in experienced at making games and it simply wasn't playable. But in a attempt to gather the funds to make the game easier, we released the outskirts as their own stand alone adventure.
This has meant adding a lot more assets to it, expanding one off character's into longer running storylines.
Which takes some time. Kara has been in the game since the beginning but we just finished drawing a portrait of her yesterday.
Hopefully adding a questlog will help with that feeling of running around like a headless chicken.
But as for the romance, don't worry we are working on it. It just so happens that making one off smut scenes is faster to draw and write than compelling romance.

It is! What you are playing right now is a demo in every sense of the word. A demonstration of our work, what we can do, what we want to do, etc.
As the label of chapter 2 suggests, there are two more parts before this one. The prologue where you are introduced to the tutorial and all of the characters. Chapter 1 which takes place in a elven city with its own series of story lines, which finally leads us to this part of the game, which we felt might be the best stand alone part of the script to build a demo around.

This is just my opinion, but it makes romance impossible when the characters which I assume are meant to be the main romances are so promiscuious and run through. The only one that didnt feel that way was Tera. Both Legends of Queen Opala and Roundscape, I mentioned before, have the same issue where once you get to the actual romance those characters just dont really fit the bill. At least from my pov. So unless something changes or maybe new characters get added to the party then I just dont ever see it being worth playing for that, at least for me. I mean from what I played (don't know if I 100%ed it or not) they were getting more action with others then with Septim. Thank you very much! Gameplay leaves something to be desired, I agree. We have very little experience when it comes to programming. And between writing, drawing, 3d sculpting, and learning animation, I don't think we can regrettably.
But! As we gain funding, we would love to look for someone who can.
Every dollar we make goes directly back into the game, but sadly even with us working for free, making a game is expensive.
We are still saving up to add a few voice barks to the game to add a bit more atmosphere.
And don't get me started on the cost of a rocking OST! XD

And I appreciate hearing it.
The three companions may be your main interest if they... Well interest you. But all of them are going to their own various reservations about that, being traveling adventurers they are mercenaries of a sort, oathbound to a higher power. They fight for the elven empire today, but tomorrow? It is something to be expanded on in future updates.
But personally I find Morrigan off putting in that regard myself. She is fun to write, but I wouldn't be interested in romancing her.
Tera is suppose to have that childhood friend kind of vibe, which I always find charming.
Celine is meant to be more reserved and withdrawn which is also fun to romance in my opinion. And she currently has no lewd scenes outside of the nymphomania run. But I do agree that even in that context she is a bit too quick to jump into bed for that to be conveyed properly. We actually have added in influence checks so you have to have a bit more history with Celine to make her do anything like that and it would hurt your standing with her to do that.
But since this is a very small almost proof of concept build of the game there would be no way to have that in there and have the scene actually be accessible. But it is definitely being worked on.
It is funny that you mentioned the Legend of Opala actually, since I had the exact same critic for that game.
As for additional character, there will be plenty of that. Septim canonically has a girl friend at the start of the game named Demitra. And the reason he is in the orc lands is to save her. You being faithful, or simply drifting away from her is an intended part of the experience that will change how things play out. And there are quite a few other alternatives planned for the adventure.
As for changing the name of your character is a planned feature once chapter 1 has been added. In fact we wanted you to be able to pick, male, female, and a few other options to make your own character. But again it falls back on too much work, too little time. We even still have a script laying around if the player wanted to start off playing as an female orc! We even began working on a 3d concept for her.
But once this game is finished and we hopefully have a larger audience it is something I'd love to revisit.
But we can add a name creation feature, no problems there.
So... to confirm... this IS a polyamorous adventuring party? And they moooostly play amongst themselves, with only odd limited dalliances outside the core group?

Its mainly with people other then the protag. I had a single scene with only one out of the 3 party members, but like 4 scenes of them boinking others (if you count bad ends that I couldnt get then that goes to like 8). Currently that Is.

It has always been our goal to make a purity run of the game not only possible, but simple.
Currently none of the lewd scenes are mandatory.
Do you want to play through the game being faithful to Septim's girl friend Demetra? You can do that.
You fell in love with Celine and would like to start something new with her, you can do that too. Want to have a open relationship with Celine, you can talk to her about that.
Granted this hasn't been implemented into the demo yet.
So as the demo stands right now.
If you want a polyamorous relationship the Nymphomania mode is the best place to go since it lowers the characters inhabitation and reservations they might have in the other game modes.
Like wise if you want romance and have the girls be more reserved play the regular mode where they aren't quite so eager to jump into bed with everyone.
normal mode = an adult RPG adventure
Nymphomania mode = Smutty smut smut
